Love this stuff... also, a little compare/contrast with Fresh Balls cream

I have been using this product for a little over two years now. I have also used products like the Fresh Balls cream (See notes about that at bottom), which also works well and is a little different than this. This is obviously your traditional-style baby powder type of product. The scent is mild, fresh and isn't overly powering in any way, shape or form. I know many people complain about powder getting all over the place... However, people simply need to get their method of 'application' down and they'll be good to go.

Personally, I'll get the boxers or briefs on (whichever I'm wearing that day) and I'll methodically apply the product. There is minimal waste this way (or excess snowing onto your floor), and provided you aren't shaking the bottle like you're a ticked off baby shaking a rattle, you're also not going to have the powder bombs or extra stuff floating around in your underpants. Just a gentle shake so the stuff sprinkles out like you're sprinkling garlic powder or salt out of one of those big McCormick containers... maybe a little squeeze to help it poof out. But again, be gentle!

Once the product is on, it will last you throughout the day. I imagine if you're like the Lion King down there, you'll have slightly different results, also dependent upon activity levels. Regardless, it WILL keep you dry, pleasantly scented and actually leaves you feelings surprisingly smooth long after the powder has faded away.

The product does work as intended and can even be used on other problem areas (feet, chafing areas, etc.). My wife has even snagged some for herself and shares the same sentiments.

IF you are the type that would rather skip the 'mess' of the powder route, then I can equally recommend the Fresh Balls cream. My only quarrels with it are that you do have to sit there and wait for this cream to dry into a powder, which can develop almost a thin crust, if you will, kind of like wet hands with flour, but not quite as much of a nuisance. The time can be excessive and I don't find it to work nearly as long as the Anti-Monkey Butt.

Additionally, if you need either of these products to disappear quickly, for whatever reason. I definitely recommend the Anti-Monkey Butt Powder over the Fresh Balls for this. Just seems to take care of itself better than the cream... plus there's that soft thing I mentioned earlier. You're welcome ladies and gents... Enjoy!

My husband had heard about this when he started to get a butt rash from the high heat at work from a co worker. I found this with a little discount through prime. I ordered it for my husband. After a couple of days his butt rash was gone and using it daily all last summer he had no issues at all. I used this product after shaving my bikini line and it kept the irritation away and never had any issues. This has now become a must have in our family and have told all of our friends about it.

Did nothing special for me. Needed to step up to some Zinc Oxide to get rid of the rash from long road bike trip in the heat. Once it cleared up, regular ol' talc is just as effective to minimize reoccurrence.

My husband works 12 hours a day in humid and wet conditions and he was always getting " man chaffing" , he use to use the Gold Bond triple action in the gold color container but that use to over dry his skin to the point it would start peeling off and bleeding in small spots and getting rashes. This is nice and soothing and keeps his man parts dry and comfy without it over drying.
Ingredients in this one are - Talc, calamine powder, fragrance

Ingredients in the Gold Bond Triple Action Powder - Menthol (0.15%), zinc oxide (1%); Inactive Ingredients: Talc, acacia, eucalyptol, methyl salicylate, salicylic acid, thymol and zinc stearate

I use this for thigh chafing in 90 degree+ heat and humidity with me walking around all day. This works perfectly! It lasts a good 12 hours! It is unscented, and rubs out of clothes (I wear black skirts etc.). Definitely a skin-saver! Way better than normal baby powder.

Better smell but less effective than Gold Bond

I'm going to compare this Johnson's Baby Powder, Fresh Balls, Gold Bond Medicated Original Strength powder for the purposes of this review. I use this powder for exactly what I believe it is intended: powdering up the male nether-regions to prevent uncomfortable "bat wings" and "swamp ass". I'm an IT professional so my day consists of mainly sitting at a desk - not a demanding environment for a product such as this. Contrary to what is probably your preconception of an IT nerd, I'm not overweight or sweaty, and my hygiene is probably above average for the male population.

First the Pros:
1. First off, this product is more effective than Johnson's and Fresh Balls, which, in my opinion, are worthless for this use case. You're lucky if you get an hour's worth of effective time out of Johnson's and three hours out of Fresh Balls. Plus Fresh Balls is just too expensive.
2. No funky menthol / whatever odor that is prevalent in Gold Bond that makes your bathroom smell like an old folk's home. In fact it has a mild pleasant smell.
3. No funky menthol tingling sensation that is present in Gold Bond. Some people like this sensation, I do not - always makes me wonder if there's a problem down there that is going to require an emergency trip to the nearest restroom and/or another shower.
4. 8-12 hour comfort under light use. The product description states "Ideal for butt busting activities such as truck driving, motorcycling, bicycling, horse back riding, and extreme sports", which, with the exception of truck driving and a small percentage of motorcycle riding, are typically activities limited to a few hours at most. Maybe this product performs well in such "extreme" conditions for short periods of time?

Next the Cons:
1. It's not as effective as Gold Bond. Gold Bond is good for a solid 24 hours with no need to reapply in my use case.
2. Silly looking packaging and name - anyone over 15 years old most likely does not want this to be seen on their bathroom counter.

Bottom line:
I will probably not buy this again as Gold Bond, despite its bad smell and menthol tingling, is more effective.
