3.0 out of 5 stars The joy con cases are too snug, but overall good protection for the console
By Ashley G. on July 19, 2017
The best part is the actual back piece for the console. I plan to use it when I travel. The cases for the joy cons are protective, but good luck taking them off.

The back cover snaps on and off easily. The controllers' covers are a different story. The covers for the joy cons are little too snug. The right joy con came out fine, but the left joy con was totally stuck. It took a long time to remove because it didn't pop out like it was supposed to. It worries me I'll damage the controller or break the case.

The cut outs for all the buttons and ports are perfectly cut. The release buttons on the back are hard to press on the back if you want to remove them from the console because the plastic bulges out for the triggers. The case had extra "feet" on the bottom, so when the consoles lays down it's level and flat. It should be noted the case adds a little weight.

2.0 out of 5 stars Scratched my switch
By Jeffrey Hill on May 4, 2017
Lived this case at first until I realized I couldn't dock it onto the switch with the case on without taking it off, and overtime while taking it off I noticed that it was subtly scratching the back of my switch. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you plan on playing your switch in handheld mode exclusively. Just keep in my mind that when you take it off you have to be extremely careful so it doesn't scratch your switch like it scratched mine. Try looking for a silicon cover instead.

I posted a picture of the traction it left on my switch from taking it off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only one of its kind
By cheetoresidue on May 10, 2017
I'll have to give it five stars because it's the only case of its kind as of now. A TPU case will easily make a better case for the console part only. but for some reason there is not one while are literally hundreds of tpu cases for phones. A combination of both a tpu case and plastic protectors for the joycons would be the most ideal.

The actual case is well priced for the build . There are plastic plates that sit on top of the joycon where the buttons are places. Those plastic plates are not needed as they make it more cumbersome. As far the feel of it it does make it more ergonomic. And by our hands being naturally sweaty this type of plastic make your hand almost stick to it. So the grip is great.

The main reason why I got this case is because I stuck a magnet with adhesive on the back of the case so I can mount it to my magnetic mobile phone mount in my car. Now I can play mariokart while I'm driving home from work! Some people just don't get sarcasm... I use it when I am on lunches or waiting in my car for my wife to go grocery shopping. Because yes I take my switch everywhere!
