Antifa: What Americans Need to Know about the Alt-Left Kindle Edition
"Antifa" dominates today's headlines, from swarming conservative speakers on college campuses to attacking Trump supporters attending the president’s rallies. Yet, though these masked, violent radicals are more numerous and prominent than ever, they are poorly understood. Claiming to oppose "racism" and "fascism," they are widely excused by the news media, and even by some Republicans, as extremists pursuing a good cause.
The reality is far different – and now, for the first time, Americans can find out the truth. WND presents an exclusive report on the formation, history, ideology, tactics and future of the leftwing extremists who call themselves Antifa:
You’ll learn how, historically, the movement started as the street fighters of the German Communist Party – and how Antifa today still uses the same symbols and slogans as their communist forebears.
You’ll go inside the writings of Antifa itself, and see the unlimited, outrageous claims to power and violence these masked thugs openly declare for themselves.
You’ll get an in-depth examination of Antifa's major factions, as well as the tactics it employs.
Most importantly, you’ll understand why Antifa isn't just a threat to conservatives and Trump supporters, but to all Americans who value the right of free speech and other essential constitutional freedoms.
This report is a tour de force of little-known Western political history as well as a penetrating look at one of the most dangerous forces to emerge in American politics. And while liberal reporters, leftist politicians and anti-American academics openly align themselves with, and run interference for, Antifa, no conservative, libertarian or responsible American can afford to remain ignorant about this group – or what it plans to do to anyone who disagrees with it.

Report
I have had a number of unanswered questions about Antifa for a few years, confused by politicians calling Antifa “an idea” and a “myth”. This short book traces the origins of Antifa to the Spanish civil war and explains its ties to communism and role in European wars. I seriously wonder if any of the middle class college educated rioters so active in burning and looting we suffered this summer understand what the movement stands for, other than anti capitalist anger & destruction. Without a chain of command such insurrectionists seem poised to attack as soon as professional agitators stir things up.

An excellent explanation of just what Antifa is and it's contradictions.
A must read it you are trying to figure out what these ultra left wing brown shirts really want and just who it is that they hate. Here is a hint. They hate everyone.

The author laid out the facts, and made the case quite well. Of course, I had little doubt from the beginning that Antics were either a bunch of thugs or crazy people, however, what I learned here flat out scared me. The following quote says it all:
"Antifa has made a unilateral declaration of war on every free citizen of this country, decreeing that they and they alone have the right to judge, punish, and even physically attack people for holding opinions that most people would consider not just to be non-racist, but simply common sense."
Sad to believe that this is what the United States has become increasingly. A nation we allow to be run by bullies because the rest of us are too p.c. to stand up for our rights.
Four stars because you need a better editor.

Short, sweet, to the point on 'antifa'; a group of actual communist radicals with a proclivity for violence and intimidation that traces back to 1920 Germany. If you want to know who these leftists are and what they believe then this is the book for you.

This is an excellent book that exposes the ANTIFA radicals for what they really are = violent treasonous Communists that hate America. Trump needs to quit talking about doing it and put this dangerous militant movement on the terrorist list where it belongs.
Read this book and encourage your HS & college-age kids to do likewise.

Clearly whoever wrote this doesn't consider slave like subjugation of non-white people by Western owned corporations in third world countries to be racist, nevermind reprehensible. And I haven't seen any Alt-Left shooters walk into a school of innocent children and now them down with an AR-15. This book explains some things but you should ask yourself what those things really are.

The first book from a conservative perspective on Antifa, its goals, origins, and tactics. This book is a useful corrective to the Dinesh D'Souza tactic of simply arguing "Antifa are the real fascists!" Instead, Antifa: What Americans Need to Know about the Alt-Left actually gets into the real history of fascism and anti-fascism. If you want to understand what is happening in this country, you need this book.

I like it. It's a bit of a hard read but very informative. It's only hard as it has lots of history and lots of detail on Antifa's beginnings right up until today. That is good but slow reading to take it all in. Very informative and takes you right up from its beginnings through its crossing the Atlantic to America and entering the resistance against President Trump. And I found its descriptions of trying to talk to an Antifa'ite to be extremely accurate. I have an ongoing dialogue with two in our area and this book nailed it. They aren't interested in hearing your side, only tearing it down along with America. I did get one to admit he was a communist though.

Good read, if a bit confusing

The author states that Antifa regards almost everyone is society as fascists, even though most hold at best centre right or left views. Then he states that Antifa's greatest aim is to stop the "Far Right" from spreading into the mainstream, as if that is somehow a criticism. Yet most people would also not like to see the "Far Right" spread into the mainstream! So this is almost an inadvertent argument in support of Antifa. I think the author needs to clarify his position on the "Far Right".
