I was looking for a classy lighter to light my pipes.
This lighter appears as such, but is cheaply made.
The "metal" only applies to some parts up top, the rest is colored plastic.
The bottom falls off frequently and is only held on via one small, weakly-threaded screw which pulled out and got lost after 2nd time filling.
I like the incorporated tamper, which can stay secured inside, pop out, or come out completely, but the tensioning mechanism that holds it in place broke after less than 1 week.
There are no instructions.
I fully regret wasting my money on this.

This lighter is absolutely terrible. It leaks every bit of gas you put into it within an hour or two. I refilled it 7 times in one day and then decided "this thing is broken." Wasted my money and pretty annoyed. Figured it was too good to be true that a lighter this pretty and nice would actually be good quality. But on to the next...

For starters this lighter looks great. I like that it has a built in tamper and is butane which is great for the casual pipe smokers like myself as it doesn't evaporate like traditional lighter fluid, however I have a few issues with this lighter. The tamper is a little too short for the majority of my pipes which isn't that big of a deal as I do have a dedicated chzech tool ( the three in one tool scraper, spoon, and tamper),but some times I lose track of it and this is all I have. Also it seems too me that this lighter favors lefties, I find myself using my index finger to light this which is awkward for me as a righty and I have trouble lighting one of my pipes as the bowl is too wide for this lighter. Over all I think this a decent lighter.
