About Antonella Barberini
When I was 32 I left a regular job, on the Adria Coast of Italy, and packed up for adventure to Big Sur - from Bologna to Buenos Aires via Madrid - with a redheaded cheeky friend; we were temporarily unemployed, nor young nor middle aged (still single), free and brave. "What the hell am I doing here?" quoted Bruce Chatwin, in Patagonia, where to lose a passport was the least of one's worries. In the middle of nowhere, after a breathtaking cargo boat trip in the chilian fjords, I couldn't imagine what would happen. Once back home, my heart was taken by a french Caribbean Pirate (petit Tony Parker's double), who seemed to be Mr Right. Life is a joke. Therefore I played the game moving to Paris one year after that meeting with destiny. Twelve years are gone by now. Twelve months were enough to admit that Charming was eventually a bitch. Today my enthusiast focus is on mind management and mental health awareness, in the aftermath of terror attacks, and my fight against PTSD and stigma, in a global Company retraining program's. Personal growth, self-discovery and mindfulness are on the screen on my 24/7 website "http://ptsdbeautifultrauma.com" with the sponsor of ex Servicemen (US and UK) who kindly shared their creative techniques for coping with their struggle with PTSD back home. My next release, after my lifesaving first self-published italian memoir, "PTSD Beautiful Trauma", is a self help manual inspired by my transformational journey with a mystic touch and magic keys to embrace physical and nervous break down as a wake up call. At 45, my time for late blooming is here. A Parisian Sparkle is rising from her ashes.

Blog postWhen I left a message in a forum for army penpals, on PTSD healing topic (on Remembrance Day uh! ), Karl, ex UK Army Air Cops, kindly replied to me :
“I found that doing something creative helps me. I write poetry and have a few hobbies but it’s important it’s something you can do alone and quietly.”
“Here in the UK as an example the care for mental health differs from county to county. Before coming to Wiltshire I was under the care of Hampshire, who were remarkable. Now I liYesterday Read more -

Since a couple of years I am personally engaging with spreading PTSD awareness, in the aftermath of Paris attacks (january and november 2015). In a certain way, 11/13 was our 9/11. Thou my personal one didn’t show up in the news, cos of cover up (not saying it all here, blaming it’s not my purpose, really).

Blog postBonjour Beautiful Souls,
This was my “good morning” from a friend. What else can I say? Speechless. So, it will be a very short post. By the way, I tried to share my yesterday post “social I am not your be**autiful friend. JD Salinger is my model”, but apparently was blocked as potentially offensive, in Facebook. One reason more to avoid linking this page to more socials. Enough is enough. We live in a world where we need to hide behind a nickname, or blur people’s faces to protect ou2 days ago Read more -
Blog postWhen I decided to write for this website, I was feeling quite isolated, and abandoned. It was almost Xmas time, and as I do regularly, I was seeking for my “cause of the year”. My first attempts to find penpals, except for subscribing to “International Pen Friends”(thank you my last representative from Sidney, AU), were not lucky. In fact, I fell into scams, in Facebook pages, and I was quite upset about that.

Blog postMessage in a bottle…
Message in a bottle. From a 50-year-old message in a bottle to email Just over a fortnight ago, 9-year-old Jyah Elliott discovered the bottle while out fishing with his father at a beach along South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. Initially, neither could believe what they found inside — a message written by another young boy in 1969. The letter’s author, Paul Gilmore, was 13 when he cast the letter overboard the TSS Fairstar migrant ship as it approached the Australi3 days ago Read more -
Blog postBonjour la Crew,
Time to make the point with you. Right? Well, let me say this website is still “under construction”, that said, I am considering all social networks I might add on this WP page. Between you and I, I will be rude, I have this feeling coming out from bottom of my heart :“social I am not your bitch”.

Blog postBody Scan Meditation. Galeries Lafayettes. Opéra, Paris. In btw 2017 and 2018 I attended a class in Paris on sophrology: guided and body scan meditations. I really enjoyed but french was a language that didn’t suit me for such a practice. Therefore I decided to have a try with english. And here first results; I find my voice quite calming. Perfect if you have sleepless nights.
