Nina has blossomed into quite the Wallah (Kirtan Leader) in her own right. Excellent: Arrangements. production and master musicianship. The chants are beautiful, powerful and have delightful exciting rhythms. I would recommend purchasing the whole project, 11 chants each one stands on its own merit.
T1 Satguru Deva
This chant starts in nice and slow with solid harmonium, then Instrumental build-up to beautiful plateau.
The vibe expresses timeless truth, deep emotion, and love for the guru.

T2 Amma Sita Ram
Rama Rama Ram, Sita Ram, Rama Ram, starts in soft, sweet, very nice violin and tabla accompaniment
Melancholy and yet joyful (hopeful) at the same time, through the praise of Ram.
Wallah (caller)-responder vocals really build an internal (one)/external (whole) relationship.
T3 Shiva Masheshwara (with rapper MC Yogi)
Very nice instrumental intro, conch sounds, and then the journey begins;
“Shiva Masheshwara Hare Ram”. The rhythm and vibe express that we are about to go on a fresh, medium paced, rhythmic-melodic journey. Great complementing melody and rhythm, Primal yet modern. The joinery goes on and on with your heart beating and soul singing.
Fresh Rap crafted in this tapestry of music. “Freed by your grace”, "Your (the Guru) reflection seen in the lake of my dream" Nice. Shout out to Shiva! then ramping up to ending. This chant Rocks!
T4 Ramaya Sri Ram Vandana
Relaxing transition from previous track. Nice very done, combination of beauty: the wallah's chant,
the clean taal-tabla, sweet electric guitar. Great example of transitional chanting moving the traditional nicely into the modern western ear/sound. Fine listening for the traditional ear, yet also very appealing for the modern western bhaktis, who wants the primal root vibe.
T5 Ramya Hanuman Chalisa
Modern Rhythms and melody, timeless devotion. Jai Tulsidas and thank You beyond words.
Moves into sweet modern grooving rhythms. Each verse of the chant is Maha!
(Thanks for pointing this out KD, timeless truth). The first I heard Nina Rao lead a chant live, (Ananda Ashram Monroe, NY) it was this Chalisa. My heart was opened to the “one track heart” of the master (Hanuman) to an ever-expanding truth of the way back home.
T6 Ramaya Sri Ram Jai Ram (for Lovers of Ram)
This chant keeps the theme high power from previous Chalisa track, but as an Encore, in praise of Lord Ram. The vibe is hypnotic, keeping you focused on the reason you choose this, Lord Ram.
Beautiful solid vocals from the Wallah (kirtan caller), countered very nicely by the tribe, (responders).
The chant peaks with powerful vocals from all. Conscious awareness spiraling to the stars, "Sita Ram, Sita Ram, Sita Ram, Sita Ram, Sita Ram", if you know what I mean. Powerful, love this chant!
T7 Tashi Lama Chenno (with Krishna Das)
Heartfelt Calling to the Guru, for the blessing of realization of the Path, and for correct vision-contemplation of the Truth, (the Guru). Spiritual alchemy; from life after life longing for the transcendent Grace of the Guru, finally Being-aligned-one with, the unity, the Grace of the Guru.
Beautiful flute intro, followed by heartfelt vocals from Wallah(caller) and responder (KD).
Solid subtle Harmonium following by soft sweet vocals and solid well-balanced drum keeping the taal.
String instruments melts into the journey with cartels (hand cymbals) presented respectfully, in perfect use and timing. Sliding electric guitar and flute dance in the Lila (the divine play). Vocal gain power and are heartfelt gratitude. The ending slows and whispers the Grace of the Guru received. This chant means a great deal to a many many beings.
T8 Devi Pranamah (with Trevor Hall)
Beautiful instrumental solo on intro, and throughout. Chant in Praise and Hail to the Universe Mother. “My inner life force is in union and radiates with honor and humbleness to Unify with Thee, Devi Pranamah. Oh, Divine Mother, of the Universe, my I be with You in Unity and Peace.
T9 Jai Ma (with Trevor Hall)
This chant enters running, in Celebration and Praise, of the Mother. Shakti flows and energizes your chakras and then aura glow, nothing exists but Shri Ma. The whole family is in praise of the realization. Very Powerful and freeing, letting your heart sore to the heavens in praise and gratitude.
T10 Govinda Gopala
Beautiful melancholy, sweet Radhe flute following vocal. Very nicely arranged, produced and performed. Angelic backing vocals, contemplative, meditative. I love the flute in this chant.
This chant has vibe reminding me of maestro Ravi Shankar Chants of India project. I love this drone style on this chant.
T11 Govinda Jaya Jaya
Beautiful flute intro, Love the drumming rhythm, classic, moving and delightful, carrying the tune along. The Vocals; caller/response praising the name of the Lord, the loving prince of Nanda (Bliss). Continues with violin solo and throughout, raises the praise of Krishna in youthful forms, always new. Filling us with hope, of the inevitably the union with the divine, which is always there if we can perceive it, contemplate, meditate it.
