Is it me, or is this 2012 garbage starting to sound like the Y2K scare?

N. Sun says:
It's all hype buddy. No one can predict the future. Not even God. If God were truly omnipotent and omniscient, there are no words to describe how cruel and perverse He is. Forget almighty, God would simply be childish and immature.

@bleman. are you as stupid and ignorant as you sound? This discussion is for intelligent people, not brain dead trolls like yourself.

Gonna be pretty hard to laugh in anyone's face if the world is blasted to bits. Your logic is flawed.

I mean, I look at it this way. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. Do I think it will personally, hell no; if it did happen however, what are you going to do about it? Shake your fist angrily at the sky in your last moments? Seems like there are better things to do with the time you have here on Earth, than worry about what might happen tomorrow.

That's all I am saying.

@Eric M. Brandt:
No offense and you make a valid point BUT all we're doing is pointing out the fallacies, paranoia, fantasy, and misinformation surrounding the 2012 predictions. Just trying to prove how flawed their theories are.

A. C. Dow says:
Well for those of you who believe in the Bible God does say that no one will know when the end will come. That being said I highly doubt that this year will be the end.

M. Donk says:
Things God says:

Do not allow others to worship a different god. Conquer them and destroy their religious property. (Exodus 23:24)

Those who break the Sabbath are to be executed. (Exodus 31:13-16)

God wants to be remembered forever for the mass murder of little children. (Exodus 10:2)

Why are some people born with disabilities? Because God deliberately makes them that way. (Exodus 4:11)

God explains how to go about selling your daughter -- and what to do if she fails to please her new master. (Exodus 21:7)

Three times a year God wants to see all of the males. The females he never wants to see. (Exodus 23:17)

A child who hits or curses his parents must be executed (Exodus 21:15, 17)

Do you follow these teachings of the bible as well? No you don't, because these ridiculous bronze-age customs, that no one in their right mind would listen to. But it's okay, continue cherry-picking the "word of god."

Did the Mayans actually say the world ends on Dec 21, 2012 (13th Baktun)?

Actually I saw the latest info concerning this B.S. and the article stated that the Mayan calender doesn't actually end on 12/21/2012! It continues further according to ancient writings that were recently discovered in Guatemala.

So, all of these so called "experts" that think the world's going to "end" on that date can hold off and start getting themselves a REAL job and a LIFE.

Let's get the boots and shovels out, folks! More "fecal matter" on the way!
