Ben and Reid's story makes your heart melt. Alex just makes you fall in love with those two instant. Their story and their feelings for each other are just so heartwarming. I loved it!
This is a second chance story about Ben and Reid who started out as best friends and then fell in love and lived HEA. Except life for in the way, family for I the way as did self doubt and self loathing. Reid walked away thinking he was doing the right thing. Years later they literally bump into each other. This story had everything i love most about mm books . I laughed, I cried , at the strangest parts ( you'll see) .
Alex West is a true story teller, he had me enthralled from the first page. I loved how he went back and forth between Then and Now. It flowed seamlessly, no awkward time lspsrs5.
The cast of secondary characters were all such a big part of Ben and Reid 's story that no-one felt gratuitous. Ok hoping to see more of this awesome family, especially Ben's mom , who kinda reminds me of me... or she could be anyone of many mom's who love their children judt a but you much, but she redeemed
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a heartfelt, emotional yet funny story family , forgiveness, and most of all love.
