So, she decides, after taking a vacation with her sisters family, that its really a family of her own that she wants. Sam obviously not interested and the only way for Delanely to move on with her get-a-husband-and-kids plan is to break ties with him -completely. She takes the drastic step of selling him her half of the business and moving out of her too-close-to-Sam apartment. He goes ballistic and can't understand why she would want leave the business and move away. Its just to painfull for her to be close to him -she needs a clean break. Will Sam realize what he's missing before its too late?

Yes, you've read this story line before, but don't pass it up because of that! This story is really good and -uh- really steamy!!(insert major eyebrow wiggling here) A short read (under 250 pages) that you won't want to put down.

Some steamy fun with a cute story that will have you fanning yourself.;)

A man and a woman are best friends (and nothing but friends) for 14 years. During this time, the woman pines for the guy, who remains oblivious and beds every woman who catches his eye. One day, the woman decides she can't take it anymore and has to move on with her life. Her first step in this process is to get rid of her plain Jane/tomboy-esque haircut and clothes. Suddenly, the guy finds himself wildly attracted to his best friend. A great deal of hot sex, confusion, denial, and a lack of communication ensue, along with a fair amount of heartbreak and sadness (on both sides) until the end of the story.

This isn't a new premise, by any means. However, this book is saved from being purely formulaic and cliche by Sarah Mayberry's skill at creating characters that are easy to care about. Sam and Delaney have their quirks and their flaws, but their friendship always seems very real. Beyond that, their sexual chemistry is off-the-charts, and their journey from friendship to something more truly does tug at the heartstrings.

This is far from the typical, stale friends-to-lovers story that we're used to. Mayberry takes that old premise and reinvigorates it with so much steam and sincere emotion that the story becomes one of the best I've read with this particular theme.

I really had fun reading this book. I started reading and I couldn't put it down until I was done with it
I recognized that I have a weakness for best friends falling in love type of story. I have read many romance novels with the same topic but this one oversees my expectations.

Delaney was in love with Sam since she was 14 years old, but he didn't seem to notice her until she decided that it was time to move on and create her own family.
What will Sam do in order to keep her? .......Anything
I won't give you any mother hints about the story, so you can have fun. I hope you can laugh and enjoy the sensual tension between this two characters the way I did.
At the end I felt like I wanted to get my own Sam.
Grab this book and you won't be disappointed.
I `m looking forward to read more Mrs. Mayberry books.
I won't be selling this one is a keeper!

Sam and Laney are two of the thickest MCs I’ve come across in a Mayberry romance. The story, while still good, was so frustrating because the main conflict was their inability to talk to each other about how they felt. The story wasn’t horrible, but my desire to smack them both upside the head made it difficult for me to recommend it. Ms. Mayberry has told better stories, and while this doesn’t deter me from continuing to seek other Mayberry books, I wouldn’t put this at the top of my list of faves by her.

Anything For You by Sarah Mayberry is an Harlequin Blaze story and is from the It's All About Attitude series. It involves best friends who becomes lovers. Delaney Michaels has been in love with Sam Kirk since she was fourteen. Now, she is thirty and is looking to get married and start a family. She decides that the first thing that she needs to do is to cut Sam out of her life because he will never love her the way that she loves him. So she decides to sell her half of their business and move out of the apartment that is next to his. She also gets a makeover that leaves Sam panting after her. Sam can't stand the idea that Delaney is leaving him behind and that she is looking like a gorgeous, hot new woman. He can't stop thinking about her too. Sam doesn't want to have feelings for his best friend, but it doesn't take long and they soon find themselves in an intimate situation twice. Finally, Delaney feels like the only way that she can get over Sam is to sleep with him until she gets over him (which sounds like a great plan, but just causes her to fall harder). Sam wants to keep Delaney as his best friend and as his lover, but she wants more so Sam has got to decide exactly what he will do to keep Delaney in his life as both. This is an enjoyable read even though it is somewhat cliche about friends turned lovers. I didn't give it 5 stars because at the beginning, I just didn't like Sam that much. He is a surfer/skater with dreadlocks? (barf!) who has slept with a lot of women (double barf!). He grew on me though as the story progressed, and I really enjoyed the ending pages. 4 stars!
