Bothof these gerat songs are on this album along with 8 other remarkable songs. This is a Stereo LP Vinyl almum (SP-4616),of excellent sound quality and was released by A & M Records in 1977.There are no notes on the album cover except a list of the tracks;but the front, back and inside cover have excellent photographs of Rita. Not only that, but on the back of the inside cover are complete lyrics to all the songs, as well as who the words and music are by,and what musicians played which instrument s on each track.
Althouhh she has cut back on her production of songs and albums, she is still perform at the age of 70.Currently she has taken up Painting.
One of my favorites is her version of Words by the Gibb brothers, and she renders Sam Cooke's Good Times in an appealing way. The Kris Kristofferson song Who's To Bless And Who's To Blame gets a rousing treatment over some really funky music.
All the tracks are enjoyable, including the powerful rock ballad Southern Lady and the closing track, a cover of Neil Sedaka's The Hungry Years, a yearning ballad. All in all, Anytime Anywhere is an appealing pop album with many a soulful moment.
