These spice jars arrived packaged well. No broken jars. One or two do have a couple of air bubbles in the glass and one has a scratched spot on one side but they are functional and all the rest were perfect. Those couple of defects are why I am giving 4 stars. I did not contact Amazon or the seller about it, because it was not that big a deal to me.
I did not use the included funnel so I can't comment on it. All the lids fit well. The shake/pour lids are tight and do not fall off. When pouring I do have to hold that flap up, but so far has not been an issue for me.
I do recommend putting the lids on (with the shake/pour lid) before putting the label on the lid, so you can be sure the labels are all lined up the same direction. I purchased the labels on the sides separately. I did not want to risk having the round labels uneven on the sides. The white labels I got are more forgiving and don't show unevenness as much.
I am really happy with these spice jars! I will be purchasing more by this same brand. I got the set of 48 and used every one of them and will need more for any new spices I get or spice blends I make.
