The pros of this book:
1) If you're entirely new to Apache HTTP servers or know a bit about it, but never received formal training, this book is a good start. It will lay down the basics of how Apache works. This book won't teach you everything, but you'll learn enough to know what you need to google for if you run into any issues.
The cons of this book:
1) You can get this information from their website. Though I haven't taken their online course, the book appears to be a copy paste of the site. I don't mind having paid for the book, but if I'm going to pay $12, it would have been nice to maybe get something extra out of it.
2) If you're a Windows user, the book only shows you how to set it up on Windows. The rest of the book teaches you from the perspective of a Linux machine. Yes, the config files are similarly-named, but if you're still wet behind the ears with Apache, you may not be able to correlate the Linux file to the Windows file. I was able to fill in the gaps, but it did require a little work on my end, which I don't mind too much.
