It's well made and will protect the contents from some very rough handling! Not the same wall thickness as a pelican, which I believe to be the best out there. But Pelican's are expensive, so if you're not protecting a shipment of Diamonds, this case would offer a cost effective substitute!

Decent case, absolutely awful decals that won’t come off
A very sturdy case that is in some ways a bit overkill for my needs. I use it for a drone, batteries, remote control, and various accessories. I’d probably give it 4 stars based on functionality, with my only complaint being that the foam plugs, while being precut, don’t allow for enough fine tuning of the height of items inside. The plugs are maybe 1.75”, so that’s how far you go, or you take out the next layer and go down twice as far. No way to get it “just right”, so I actually can’t get everything in my case that I wanted to. But I’m rating this as 2 stars, because they put these cheap labels on the outside with a super adhesive so that the labels come off in hundreds of pieces. I spent nearly 2 hours pulling, scraping, and soaking the labels, and I’m still not done. I won’t return this one, but I certainly wouldn’t buy another, and wouldn’t recommend that you buy one either. I’m sure someone will offer up the perfect trick for getting these labels off, but really, should we need to do anything other than lift the edge and pull it off? Disappointed.

At Harbor Freight, it's only $60, and coupons are applicable. I used my 25% holiday coupon to buy it for only $45. Personally, I think this is a $60-80 value case comparatively. The Pelican equivalent is about $80 new, so for this to be $60 without any discounts is pretty good. I wouldn't ever pay more than $80, as after that price point there's better options.
Solid case, great protection, not worth $125.

The Apache X-large 4800 case is a pretty good, solid, case. It can definitely take a hit, the seals are good enough to keep dirt, dust, and moisture out, and it's got tons of padding that's easy to use and manipulate. I personally like that it has two tier foam, both with cutouts to allow for even more storage, with a solid piece of foam on the bottom of the second tier. I bought the 4800 somewhere else as I just happened to find it while shopping for something else. This thing is perfect for my Humminbird Helix 9 and Helix 7. The 9 even has a Ram Mount 2” ball on it. They both fit in it without a problem. It looks like it is pretty well built. Based on its looks and feel, I will be shocked if I have any problems with it.
