Fleeing an abusive relationship, Jennifer Conrad is a small-town girl starting over in the big city. But when she gets up in the morning to find tiny wounds on her body that weren’t there when she went to bed, her once-hopeful waking hours begin to take a horrific turn. She soon finds herself trapped in a spiral of sleep deprivation, paranoia and a paralyzing fear of the unseen, derailing her new life and even forcing her to reconsider the option of going back to her abusive but stable relationship. Her only chance is to uncover the mystery of the strange bites—a mystery that seems to spring from the vacant apartment next door and the tortured woman who once lived there. But is she ready to confront the terror within and wage a final battle for survival before the last, bloody bite is taken?

GREAT "LITTLE CREATURE" FEATURE !
low budget but does not watch like one,
the cast & special effects are really well crafted

glad to have purchased, creature feature collection :)
Jennifer has moved (or tried to) from her abusive husband, a local policeman. No matter what she does, she cannot seem to escape him. He uses his badge and position to manage to always hound her. But that's the least of Jennifer's problem. When she first moves in to her new digs, she is troubled by constant crying and moaning from another apartment. She fears she is going crazy. However, she notices one of her neighbors seems to be infected by something. After the woman commits suicide, Jennifer and the apartment handyman go into the empty home. While there, Jennifer discovers an unusual jewelry box and decides to take it. Big mistake.
Apartment 212 is entertaining, although I would not rate it any higher than I did because of the ending. If you cannot see the ending coming from 10 miles away, turn in your badges! Still fun. Rated "R" for language and violence.
