But after debating whether or not to get the second-generation AirPods Pro, I finally took the plunge, and I’m glad I did. Here’s what I’ve noticed after using them.

I spend a lot of time in loud environments, whether it's in a workshop or just crowded spaces, and the V2’s ANC works much better at filtering out background noise. There’s also this new feature where it seems to adjust based on voices around you, something that wasn’t in the first version. In terms of sound, I wouldn’t say it’s a night-and-day difference, but the bass feels more punchy in this new version. The sound is crisper overall, but unless you’re really paying attention, the upgrade might seem subtle.

AppleCare+ remains as good as ever, and I continue to recommend it for all Apple products. It saves you the hassle, and it ensures that you're covered from day one.

I bought two pairs of these and honestly, I was expecting them to be good. I own other Apple products and I knew that Apple made quality products. Usually when you expect something to be good, you are quickly disappointed. But these things have blown my mind. The sound is incredible. They work seamlessly with your life. They pair seamlessly with your phone. The way they lower the volume and amplify voices if I begin to speak is amazing. I feel like I could wear these all day and my life wouldn’t be interrupted at all. If anything, I’d hear people more clearly when they speak to me. I read that the next software update might add the ability make these actual OTC hearing aids. That alone makes these an unbelievable value. I have never owned earbuds that sounded this good and had so many other features and uses. The noise cancellation makes me feel like I’ve been sucked into the vacuum of outer space and the tech/additional features make me feel like Marty McFly. I just rejected a call by shaking my head! And these are great for workouts. These are the first earbuds that have cancelled out the obnoxiously loud gym music and allowed me to hear what I’m listening to and not some kind of hellish remix of two off beat songs. I’m even able to listen to and clearly understand podcasts while working out. I never got that hoverboard that I dreamed of when I was a kid but Apple reminds me that I do in fact, live in the future. Very impressed!
