I ordered the Macbook Pro 2.9GHz CPU with 512GB of storage with the Radeon 560 discrete graphics card, and received the 2016 version, 2.7GHz CPU version with the lower Radeon 530. The sticker-specs on the box are the correct specifications that I ordered, but the device itself is the lower-end model.
Also, this laptop is not "new". I bought and registered this laptop with an AppleCare+ account prior to me realizing that the laptop is not what I ordered. After I realized this fact, I called Apple support and they informed me that this laptop is actually already registered to another AppleCare+ account from 12/21/17 and that it was sent to Apple Repair because "none of the keys on the keyboard worked".
I ended up ordering the laptop specs I want from Apple instead and this laptop is going back to Amazon for a refund.
