The MacBook Pro arrived in excellent condition, almost perfect aside from one small scratch on the side of it (almost unnoticeable). Delivery was very fast, and it arrived sooner than I had expected. Would recommend.
Hiding behind the excuse of 'elegant design' the people at Apple continue in their shameless and relentless attempt to turn their walled garden into a full blown prison garden. In their latest macbooks they decided to replace all standard ports with incredibly elegant USB-C ports (and of course they don't provide any USB to USB-C adaptors in the package - but hey, you can buy them for 'only' $20!). So now I can't use my mouse, my graphic tablet, my projectors, and not even my hard drive on which I backed up my old mac of course... thank you very much!
It seems like in their mind I'm supposed to just put my macbook in the middle of an empty white room and worship it as an idol, instead of doing any actual work... they clearly forgot that good design is also supposed practical, not just an object of fetishism.
Too slippery to carry without feeling like you'll drop it. That doesn't sound like a big deal until you find yourself duct taping it for more grip. No mag charger. Charger cord too short. Touchpad is no big deal....it actually feels a bit PCish. (cheap). Steve Jobs is crying about this model..
