Ran right out and purchased this to use in conjunction with my iPhone and now larger iPad Pro (12") to charge them quicker. Using this 29W adapter with Apple's USB-C to Lightning adapter will charge your iPhone 6 and above, as well as, iPad Pro tablets in about ¾ the time it would with the chargers that come with the products initially. Apple has changed the wiring in these devices to allow much faster charging and the 29W USB-C will deliver it. Unfortunately, you will also need to buy the Apple adapter (I mentioned earlier), as there is currently no known USB-C to Lightning cable combination available.
