The picture of the watch on website for the milanese loop stainless steel apple watch (series 5) is of the gold version. I ordered this and the silver stainless version came. We were anticipating a gold watch in the mail. Unfortunately, the description does not match the picture, which was deceiving and we received a silver one. Check your orders carefully as it appears Amazon/Apple don't care about the accuracy of their products online.

I LOVE THIS WATCH!!! I am still learning to use its many functions but it is proving to be absolutely awesome! And, it is beautiful! I originally ordered gold w/ the gold Milanese Loop band but it was not available. Stainless is actually much better for me because it wears well daily. Gold would be too “dressed up” for my usual activities. And the look of the stainless Milanese band is beautiful. For even the most basic iWatch 5, I felt the plastic band was too casual and a little cheap looking for the price &/or to wear to a dressy event. The ease & intuitive interface is typical of all my Apple products but there are so many functions in the tiny case that it is taking time to learn them all. I had a mild stroke 4 months ago so “fall detection” was the reason for my initial interest / concern. I’m too young (and vain) to wear a push button around my neck In case “I’ve fallen & I can’t get up”. But, since I am alone much of my time daily, my family wanted me to be able to call for help if I had another emergency or stroke. I know it works, too. I accidentally set it off when moving something really heavy & dropping it on the ground. It gives 1 minute to cancel the call which gave me enough time to stop the SOS before it contacted emergency services. I would recommend most products by Apple because they have proved to be an amazing & innovative company with all their products. Their products are always fantastic. And this watch is no exception.

This is my fourth Apple product in this century (bought a Mac in 1984!). I am very glad that I had not planned on wearing it to meet the Queen tonight😂. I am three hours into setting it up and the end is not really in sight. Sooooo irritated/disappointed/ticked off, etc. I think most people my age (if I bought a Mac in 1984 I leave the math to you) would have shoved the thing back in the box and sent it back to Amazon, waited for Series 7, and gone to the Apple Store with a bigger credit card. BUT, I like a deal and I am persistent. First, it would pair with my iPhone but said I was not connected to the Internet (I was indeed) and so it could not proceed because it couldn’t update the software. This endless loop continued throught many attempts at resetting, restarting, shutting down iPhone, etc. FINALLY I deleted the Watch APP, which came with my iPhone XS two years ago (I didn’t even know I had it on there). Then I installed it again. I feel pretty sure that did the trick, because it then found the software. Took an hour to download and 30 minutes to install. THEN it said there was ANOTHER UPDATE. So I am now on round 2 of updates/downloads/install/preparing notices. Still haven’t been able to set it up but so frustrated I had to share with you. DON’T give up. It is a pretty watch (ss/silver/mesh band very comfy). Also, the “owner’s manual” is only online and not good. I thought there would be some “juice” in the battery so I could at least pair the watch, like when my iPad came, but no, had to put it on its magnetic charger and fiddle around with the watch to convince myself that it was charging. I think the directions should have said: “Step 1, charge the durn thing.” Step 2: Reinstall Apple Watch App that came with your phone. Step 3: Clear your calendar for a few hours. 4. Make sure your iPhone is charged because you will need it A LOT for all the updates it has to transfer to the watch. Oh MAN! I almost messed up after all these hours. It FINALLY set up. Said “Press the digitial crown to start.” That is the button that sticks out. I pressed too long I guess and it said “Do you want to RESET and start over?” (Or something.) Luckily there was a CANCEL. So I pressed the “Crown” quickly and now WE ARE IN BUSINESS! YAY!

I ordered three of the same model and none of them worked! It pairs with the phone and asks for update but then complains that update failed because you are not connected to internet which is not true. I got the first one and as soon as I saw the error and trying several times I thought the watch is defective and returned it and ordered the second one.
The second one came and had the exact same issue. Googled the error message and tried EVERY SINGLE solution that was suggested online but it didn't work. Took the watch to the Apple store and they had no luck to fix it and asked for $400 repair cost to send it somewhere to have it fixed. So I returned it and got a replacement.
The third one came and had the same issue. Was on the phone with a senior expert from Apple support for 2.5 hours and he tried everything but couldn't fix it and told me the watch is defective and most likely the whole batch that Amazon has from this model are defective. I just quit and returned the third one! Sooo frustrated.
