Clean, low-profile case

This is definitely a case for people that care about aesthetics more than actual protection of their phone. As many reviews have complained about, this case does not do much to protect your phone and is a bit overpriced. However, the target audience for this case may have Apple Care or are just willing to pay to get their phone fixed IF something were to happen to it. At the very least, it is protecting phone itself from scuffs and scratches.

I do enjoy the aesthetics of this case a lot. It is very light, thin, low profile and gives you about as close of "not having a case on your phone" experience as possible. I also like that it still allows you to use MagSafe products and wireless charging without any issue. The side volume buttons feel very natural and don't have the jank other cases sometimes have where the buttons don't quite line up right.

My only gripe is the price to quality ratio. This is not real leather by any means. I would honestly not mind paying the Apple premium or even a little bit more if this was actually real leather (and no, not "genuine" leather either). Luckily I got black, because the case is already a bit scratched up and it would be a lot more noticeable if it wasn't as dark. However, based on the other positives, I still think this case is "kind of" worth it.

All variations of their cases suck, plastic, silicone, and of course leather. I’ve tried all 3. If you drop your phone the sides of the case will break and the leather will tear. I just dropped my phone and it landed face down in this case. I’ve never EVER EVER had a case as bad as this where it can pop out upon impact. Now I have a scratched up phone and a damaged case. The best case I’ve ever owned has been a 15 dollar one off Amazon. Apple is super pathetic with these cases, probably on purpose

Case looks and feels nice however the leather is too soft any impact just rips the leather and makes the case look bad. I got the orange one changed black on the sides from holding it. Does not come off cleaning it. Very disappointed for the cost of the case.

Optisch ist die Hülle wirklich eine wirklich feine Sache. Das iPhone büßt kaum etwas von seinem Design ein. Im Gegenteil wirkt das iPhone in der Hülle robust und wertig. Leider gibt es jedoch auch erhebliche Nachteile, weswegen ich die Hülle leider nicht empfehlen kann.

Zu rutschig: Die Hülle hat wirklich null Grip. Mit Hülle ist das iPhone in der Hand glatter als ohne Hülle. Das führt dazu, dass das iPhone viel leichter aus der Hand gleiten und damit auch leichter zu Boden fallen kann.

Kein Schutz vor Schmutz: Ich konnte es kaum glauben. Nach wenigen Stunden Benutzung dachte ich schon, mein iPHone hätte Macken o.ä. . Tatsächlich waren es nur Staub- und kleine Schmutzpartikel, die sich zwischen Hülle und Rahmen gesetzt hatten. Bei längerer Benutzung würden diese dann wohl wirklich zu Schäden am Gehäuse führen. Für mich absolut unverständlich. Die Hülle erfüllt damit leider ihren Hauptzweck nicht.

Keine gute Bedienung der Seitentasten: Die Tasten lassen sich in der Hülle nicht gut und nur mit erhöhtem Druck drücken.

Fazit: Optisch wirklich eine tolle Hülle (dafür zwei Sterne), sie erfüllt allerdings nicht ihren Hauptzweck, weswegen ich sie nicht empfehlen kann.

En mi caso, tengo el iPhone 14 plus en azul, y el contraste con esta funda marrón (ocre oscuro) es perfecto, elegante y ademas otorga una protección a mi juicio excelente, el agarre es muy bueno y tiene por supuesto protección en la parte trasera del dispositivo. Hay que tener en cuenta que una funda de piel bien cuidada con el paso del tiempo se oscurecerá pero he tenido esta funda en modelos anteriores y con el paso del tiempo se queda un tono caramelo mas oscuro, para mi no es problemático porque ahí esta el encanto de tener una funda de piel. En fin un diez y sin duda recomiendo su compra, por cierto la caja donde viene la funda, mención aparte otro diez en la presentación.

I never bought an original Apple case before. The full price is ridiculous. However, I found it almost 40% off and the previous case was somewhat disappointing.I was impressed by the quality. Almost perfect fit, decent protection of every part of the phone. The quality of the leather seems to be great. Don’t know if I’ve done the right thing but from the beginning I used some good quality shoe polish to treat it. Now feels better to touch and looks better (personal opinion). I dropped the phone accidentally on the carpet and the case seems to be fine, no chips/dents. I’m not using the magsafe but the phone seems to do something when case is attached. Doesn’t add extra volume to already bulky iPhone plus.
Conclusions: well made, good materials, probably good protection. Terribly expensive if bought at full price. Recommend.

Habe die Lederhüllen von Apple immer gern genommen. Hier war ich dieses mal aber überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Haptik und Aussehen sind top.
Leider rutscht das Handy immer aus der Hülle, wenn man das Gerät in der Hosentasche trägt und das ausgerechnet an der Ecke oben links, wo es sich dabei selbst stumm stellt. Apple sollte die oberen Ränder der Hülle mal etwas ausgeprägter gestalten.
Lob für Amazon: die Rückgabe klappte völlig problemlos. 👍🏻
