At just 9.3mm, the iPhone 4 is thin as a rake but the front and back are 30 times stronger than the usual plastic. Reason - aluminosilicate glass, the stuff that windshields of military choppers are made of. The periphery is customized alloy, 5 times stronger than steel. Your accidental dropping won't hurt your pocket-communicator. The Retina Display packs in 4 times the amount of pixels (326 per inch) of iPhone 3, and makes the text and images slicing sharp. Thanks to the added 960 x 640 pixel screen watching of HD movies on the iPhone 4 becomes a gasp. When you become a shutterbug behind the iPhone 4 camera, you shoot 5 megapixel images and high-definition videos at 720p resolution, with the LED flash and autofocus that make things easier. Opt for the iMovie video editing software, and you become a movie maker. If you happen to have Wi-Fi around, the FaceTime feature gets you into true worldwide video chat and 'staying in touch' becomes real personal. And all it takes to choose between the front and rear camera is a tap. The 3-axis gyro, when coupled with accelerometer, results in 6-axis motion sensing, and that's as good as it can ever get for gaming on a cell phone. With 7 hours of talk time (3G)/10 hours of video/40 hours of audio, the iPhone 4 packs in enough power to let you do fast multitasking and then some more.

This version IS usable for Tracfone, but unless you are--all joking aside--deaf and need an Apple Tracfone only for graphical purposes, please re-read paragraph one. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS.
The communication before during and after was great! I was very skeptical about buying an iPhone 4 still new but this was BRAND NEW, IN THE BOX & works just fine. I had an iphone 5 and I got tired of all of apples stupid updates and addon ios this and ios 1thru20 so I just got an iPhone 4 its simple and just like it was in 2009. I never use Siri anyway. I have Page Plus with the Verizon network i signed on with out a hitch. Verizon was always faithful but need to drop my carrier cost with TONKINS iPhone 4. I got this phone inside of 48 hours paid a little more for the fast delivery but needed the phone ASAP TONKIN had it in the mail on a Sunday by high noon. I plan to buy one more for my son later on in Feb. this phone has no sim card but as long as Im in the Verizon network things work great. 5 stars to Tonkin for my Apple iPhone 4 CDMA 16gb. affordable & NIB
Thank you. Don R. Lakewood, CA.
This review is not for the iPhone 4, but for the seller I dealt with through Amazon Prime, and for Amazon itself.
The purchase I made was entirely misrepresented. Neither of these iPhone 4s were new as claimed by Trans Tech Products & sold as new by Amazon Prime.
Both iPhones purchased looked pretty good cosmetically and had a clean MEID that could be activated through Verizon without problems, but both serial numbers had previous Apple registration & expired warranties. There was non-standard packaging on both phones (incl. replaced back and front scratch protector stickers with hair and dust stuck under them, carefully lifted but tampered external box seals and info tags, replaced wrappers and twist ties on wires, and a metal SIM insert holder in the rather dogeared welcome material enclosure, on a SIM-free Verizon CDMA phone). Both phones were missing the standard dot moisture sensors in headphone jacks and plug, which my local MacXpert said meant the phones had almost assuredly been opened, either for service or part replacement. Their absence would usually void any warranty on the phone. Although wiped of personal information, each phone had an updated operating system and many applications open when I powered them on. They immediately displayed the lock screen instead of the set-up assistant wizard. Clearly they were pre-owned.
I am not adverse to buying a refurbished or well cared-for used device at a decent price, but I paid Trans Tech Products a premium for these iPhones based on the "New" claim, thinking I would also get the manufacturer's warranty. When I contacted Amazon about this issue, I indicated a willingness to keep the devices at a fair used price. They immediately agreed to refund to me the difference between what I had paid initially and what a used iPhone 4 is now selling for on Amazon, about half the nearly $200 "New" list price charged by Trans Tech Products.
This sort of dishonest and misleading listing made under the umbrella of Amazon Prime really damages the trust of the consumer, regardless of whether Amazon is almost always willing to make it right through return and refund or not. This corporate "honesty" unfairly depends on the critical attention and a high degree of product knowledge on the part of the purchaser. If I buy something claimed as NEW and sold by such an established retailer as Amazon, I should be able to trust that it will delivered as 100% new in every aspect without exception. Amazon needs to do a more careful job of vetting their sellers, especially the ones they allow to sell under the Amazon Prime listing.
No, it doesn't have a sim card, but that's no longer required with straight talk. It used to be, but it's NOT anymore. (People that claim you have to have a Sim card are wrong) You DO however have to pay about 8 bucks for an activation code through straight talk. Which in short, works like a sim card would.
Listen up, this is important, if you want an activation code, go to straight talks site, go to the bring your own phone link, and select CDMA. It'll check your phones ESN, and your zip code to see if it will work where you live then offer to sell you an activation code. OR you can call them and have them activate it. Either way, this is how you get a CDMA phone to work with straight talk that isn't theirs.
You also have to make sure your ESN is clean before it can be activated. There are websites you can use to check this out. I used SWAPPA. If your ESN isn't clean, you probably should return it -- unless you brought it from a different contract. Then you'll have to have the company clear it for you that you had it from.
I also made sure to use a highly rated seller with LOTS of good reviews and success stories, AND one that claimed to sell phones with clean ESN's.
I must warn you however, straight talk's customer service is slow and took me a good couple of hours to get the phone working. But in the end, it works great!
Also, the first phone I got was buggy, and I returned it for another that isn't. For example: it would shut off randomly, or the flash light would flicker randomly. But the one I got to replace it is not buggy (knock on wood).
Over all, my wife enjoys her new phone a lot! And I'm happy with the deal we have on straighttalk.
