I definitely feel safe keeping my phone in this. I usually keep it in another drybag just in case, but it’s gotten wet and been okay. I just wish the back was clear! I like to insert my phone right side up, and the way the bag is made, that means I can’t use the camera. If I insert the phone upside down, which does allow me to use the camera, the plastic lock makes it more difficult to use the keyboard. If you wear the phone your neck with the lanyard, this might not be a problem for you. I don’t wear it as when I’m on the water I try to ignore my phone! I also don’t take many pictures during a workout.
The touch ID button does work with this case, unlike with many others. You can’t use Touch ID through it obviously—you have to use the keypad to unlock—but you can wake and control the phone with the button. For me this is a big plus.
The lock doesn’t feel as solid as my older locking dry bags, but so far I haven’t had any problems.
