My other two air pumps don't even come close. At the moment I am running an air stone bar and two sponge filters.
The only thing that detracts from this pump is the noise. If the air intake is left unconnected, it is quite loud. I attached a check valve and it is far better (but still is a little more noisy than my current air pumps).
I purchased the TOM Aquarium Aqua Lifter Pre-Filter and the TOM Aquarium Aqua Lifter Pump Holder to go along with this pump and now I have a clean, functional and quiet way to keep my overflow primed. I'm very happy with this solution overall.
One aspect I'd like to see improved is the construction of the inlet/outlet nipples on this pump. The plastic that is used does not feel particularly resilient and flexes considerably when trying to remove a hose. This is the only downside I've found and I can happily endorse this pump otherwise.
