Speaking of light, I never bothered to put in batteries, and hadn't planned on using that function anyways. But, as mentioned in other reviews it does look like a sketchy rewire job, so I would say use the light at your own risk.
The clear glass pebbles were a nice touch, but I used them on top of classic gravel, since there aren't too many of them.
Other than that, it's a nice bowl set up for a nice price.
as far as the actual product, great for the money...the bowl is a rather cheap easily scratch plastic, but for a first time beta tank for say, a child, its perfect.

Worst thing ever! The lights don't even work. It was bought as a gift for me but it's a piece of s***.Published 11 months ago by Karen
This container is too small for a betta. Bettas are from a tropical climate, and need a tank that is heated consistently to around 78 degrees F. Read morePublished 12 months ago by Sarah
Instead of using it for an aquarium, I filled it with seashells and pearls. It's gorgeous without the light, but when you turn the light on - WOW!Published 13 months ago by Mickey L. Sandridge
Cute base but cheep plastic bowl that arrived dented (not fixable). Base has place for batteries and a plug in adapter to activate the lights. Read morePublished 15 months ago by Lisa Butsch
Very cute but the plastic bowl is hard to clean and continuously has a film on it. Wish it came with a glass bowl.Published 16 months ago by Seas The Day, Sandi Lightfoot
It looks beautiful and my betta loves it too. He made many happy bubbles. Just wish it came with a cord for the light instead using batteries.Published 18 months ago by Krista Humphrey
