The book would deserve five stars if it weren't for the custom made typeface used through the book: a western typeface that mimics arabic calligraphic style. Maybe it is not entirely rational, but I just hate all these 'alì baba fonts'; of course I am all in favour of contamination and cross-cultural design; I just feel that designing a western typeface so that a lower case 'a' resemble a 'ta marbuta', the 'q' resembles a 'waa' and so on, it is not the way to achieve something new and interesting, no matter how beautifully crafted such a typeface might be.

The book was in great shape, the wait time was negligible. The content was amazing and I would suggest it for others.Published on January 10, 2013 by chaka brown freeman
