Does the job as it should. There are two Aramith cueballs - the red circle and the measle ball ( this one ). Each has slightly different characteristics. Both are wll made by Aramith. The measle ball plays a little "heavier", with a little less action, but is easier to move precisely for cueball control.

This thing is awesome. Helps to know what type of "hit" you put on the cueball. Seems really durable and well-made. Like others have said - it's kind of off-white and yellowish in color. When mine arrived, the plastic packaging had cracked but the ball itself is perfectly fine. Makes me wonder if these ball have been sitting in the sun or maybe in the trunk of a car? Making the ball yellow and the plastic package brittle? Not sure but the item itself is a winner! I don't really care about the color so much. Although the package talks about how hard and durable this thing is, I am gonna avoid breaking racks with it to prolong its life. I play at pool halls so I will just use the cue ball provided for breaking.

Plays english very well, shows you if your stroke is off and you are accidentally putting side spin on the ball. it has been sent of my table onto concrete floor a few times and it didn't even show any marks

I wont say that it is going to turn you into Minnesota Fats, but the dots definitely help with developing your ball control. In my humble opinion I think it provides better feedback on what you are doing wrong as opposed to what you are doing right. There are times when I took certain shots that I was shocked to see what spin was actually being applied to the cue ball. Numerous times straight shots (or what I thought was straight) turned out to put fairly strong spin on the cue ball. I think that anyone who gets this ball will definitely be able to use it to improve their game if they take it seriously and study what they are doing.

Loved the cue ball. I have been using it pretty regularly. My older cue ball (also an Aramith one, but not from the pro-series - the one without the red dots) used to retain chalk marks left by an occasional miscue, but this one doesn't. I also clean it regularly, that way it remains as good as new.

This is a great cue ball. I had a red circle ball and even though this is supposedly the same it seems to p[lay much better. Perhaps it is all in my head though haha.

The dots are great for seeing intentional and unintentional english. I can see both when I am hitting a little off from what I intended and even when my opponent is off.

If I lose this one like I lost my red circle I will definitely be purchasing another. Highly recommended.

Great Practice ball. And if you have your own Pool Table and the time to practice, this really does help your game. A bit pricey for one ball. But if you like Aramith balls, then why not stick with Aramith all the way. I think it's a great ball. I gave it 4 stars only because I thought it is a bit overpriced. And I'm not a Pro making the dough.

... but I'm not sure it's worth the 3x price of a regular spotted cue ball. In any event, that's what I decided to paid so I can't knock it. Rolls great, let's me see how I hit the ball so I can hone my skills.
