I've only had this for a couple weeks, but it has been played extensively with many hours and no issues yet.
Set up was easy, and it looks great. All buttons seem to function well.
I have added a photo with a full size bar stool to give everyone a size comparison.
If anything changes I will update this review.

** UPDATE - I have lowered my stars in review to 3. I will explain.
I removed the dial that came with it and installed the "Arcade Spinner for Arcade1Up" which is a huge improvement for games like Tempest.
***** This should be installed to begin with *****
The spinner is $39.99 and you must also purchase the "Arcade1Up 12 in 1 Interface Board" at $11.99. So the upgrade with original cost total is $420.88. The game is nice but it is overpriced. They need to include this with original purchase price then I would consider it a much better value.

After finishing assembly, I noticed that one of the screws that holds the cabinet sides on had fallen out-- apparently the hole was stripped or lacked the nut insert for the screw to bite into. I don't feel like taking the cabinet apart to correct the problem, so we'll see if this becomes an issue over time.
My game came with the riser and that took about another 15 minutes. The cabinet and riser is constructed of a medium density fiberboard with black laminate on both sides. It's adequately robust and looks good. The side panel and marquee graphics are striking and well printed, bright and vivid. But they seem to be printed on a rubbery type of vinyl, so I'm not expecting them to last a particularly long time.
The LCD screen is displays a clear, reasonably bright and colorful picture, but it's not always strong enough in bright lighting situations, and it's contrast is lacking. From any other viewing angle other than straight on, it has a washed-out appearance.
The control deck is well laid out and the arcade-style buttons are generally a pleasure to use. However, the B-button on my deck does not always fire when pressed, and this causes some frustration during some games. The big disappointment on the control board is the spinner. On assembly I upgraded mine to Glenn's Retro Spinner and never even played the supplied spinner even once-- it's clearly a piece of junk and will only frustrate. If you want to play Tempest, you MUST replace it. The control deck is also printed with some nice graphics, but I can tell after a day of use, that these graphics are going to get worn off quickly. My hands already have a few black lines on the palms where they rest on the edge of the board and rub off the printing. A plexiglass cover is highly recommended here-- also important if you want to rest a beverage on there while you're playing.
I'm over 6 feet tall and playing the cabinet standing is a little bit awkward-- but doable. I played mostly seated on a barstool, but standing for a few games worked also, and it's really nice to have the option.
Overall impressions: The cabinet looks striking and fun. It puts a smile on anyone's face who loves arcade games. The games work well and play like you remember them. I'd like the system to be able to retain high scores, but it can't. The fit and finish is decent, but not great, but for about $300 plus another $50 or $60 for the Spinner, I'm not disappointed. I wish it was better, but it's still PRETTY GOOD.
