After having heard Invincible a few times, I was utterly convinced, that if Two Steps From Hell came out with another public album, they could not live up to it again. I WAS WRONG. This album is just as amazing as the first album. I'm sure I'll listen to it every day.

Archangel is several of their more popular songs and it is mostly their epic songs. Which is really what made them famous. I'm not saying I don't like their other stuff, but the big epic music is my absolute favorite.

With this album having 4 more songs than the last one, it makes it even more worth it to buy than it already was.

If you're still not sure what I'm trying to get across... just buy it. It's worth it. Believe me.

What made Invincible stand head and shoulders above all other trailer music was the melodic core of the songs and the balance of tones. Each track had structure, each one told a story. The core elements of the music had a layered integrity which lent them power you could hear in seconds.

Archangel is less melodic and borrows too much from all the mishmash-trailer music out there. Choir voices over a frenetic orchestra is not powerful music, however overall Archangel remains superior to most.

Simply put, this is a FANTASTIC compliment to Invincible and Illusions (Thomas Bergersen). It's the classic "epic" music without the repetativity that other producers seem to get (looking at you, Epic Score.....)

Hands down, this is some of the best music that you will ever hear. Illusions still holds the crown as the perfect music, but this comes in at an incredibly close second, with Invincible lagging behind in a solid third place.

Simply put, this is the best $9 you could spend on music. Absolutely fantastic.

I love this album more than any other album because it contains all the best works from two steps from hell. It's almost as if the creators listened to the fan base and gave them exactly what they wanted. Everything short of one song called "magika".

It's all here, dragon rider, magic of love, iron wing..... lots of good songs.
This music is perfect for studying or doing homework. Its crazy, you'll go on for hours doing work without getting as tedious. It's almost sick how well you will get lost in your own "world".

About me:
I'm litening to this music with "creative THX software" and "M50 audiotechnicas".

-I'm lost and I'm never coming back......

After listening to this album, I've come to more clearly appreciate what I don't like in this genre. A single voice is just not enough. There's something far more motivating about a chorus. I almost gave this 3 stars because it's such a letdown after "Invincible". However, this genre's just so far and away better than most other music, I left it at 4. I was also pretty disappointed with TSFH's Skyworld and Halloween. It's like they can't decide what they want to do. It makes it a lot harder for me to want to purchase an album if they're so wildly dissimilar. If you like this music, some of the other groups you may enjoy include Epic Action and Adventure, The Immediate, Globus, Future World Music and E.S. Posthumus (Makara is my favorite).

If you like TSfH's "Invincible" offering you will be even more moved by this sequel. As good as Invincible is, this successor is even more diverse in musical themes and has some "Prettier" music to provide satisfying relief from the "Epic" intensity of other tracks. If you like "epic music", this is as good as I have heard. Most sounds are truly orchestral with sparsely sprinkled effects. Well recorded, this will flatter your stereo kit.

Warning: you won't be able to stop yourself from doing creative things after listening to this music. I was trying to study for a test until I put on this album; then I found myself simultaneously drawing, composing poetry, and thinking up a new plot for a novel. Archangel is a fantastic, unparalleled set of music; I have found nothing else like it. The choir is not heavy, though it is used quite a bit; on the contrary, voice is employed in this album to lift the strings and the percussion up to the heavens. What makes this album exceptional is the fact that every song is different and unique, and when played all through there is a definite story to the works. Divine music like this is a must for any creative sort--though one may want to wait until after other responsibilities (AP Tests, SATs, finals) are completed before listening to this.
Now go, listen to the music and be inspired!

This may sound like an advertisement, but I love them so much! Two Steps continues to make epic music in a great follow up to Invincible. Ever since finding out about Two Steps I've been hooked on their epic music. There are tracks that seem to tell a story on their own, of the fight for survival, of hope, or the tale of a mysterious place; however you want to interpret it. My favorite tracks include Archangel, Nero, Titan Dune, Love and Loss, and others. I've been waiting my entire life for a group that makes tons of epic music, and Two Steps fits the bill. As with all the albums they produce, there are some tracks I wish were longer, but most are the perfect length. If you like epic music that can accompany the scene of an ancient battle, then you'll love Two Steps' Archangel. Also look into SkyWorld.
