As Venom and Holly begin to unmask the plot against her, Holly also feels a deadly force awakening within her. The numerous forces against them prove quite challenging and even of a supernatural source, but Venom and Holly have an insurmountable attraction and powers that work together hand in hand. With iron will, fierce determination and the help of Rafael's posse, the plot is unraveled and the mysteries surrounding Holly are masterfully revealed and resolved.
Venom and Holly were each unique and a "one of a kind" in the Guild Hunter world and very alone. Together, they are a powerhouse and a perfect match! Great story and 5 Star read!
This was definitely a different take on the other members of the seven but, Holly was a different individual than the other ladies. She had so much more to overcome and to learn. Never having anything to do with the Tower, or vampires, there was a lot of ground for her to cover. Add to that, what happened to her at the hands of Uran and I'm amazed that she didn't find a way to take her own life, much less, recover enough to start seeing her family again.
Viper is a wise man, he knew what he was up against and I don't think he really had feelings for her until, she had recovered from all the changes she had gone through. I think there was a lot more heart searching with these two characters than with any of the others. They both had hang-ups and knew that others couldn't see them as they really were.
Added to that is the storyline, I definitely couldn't see how all of that was tied together. Beautifully handled and written. This wasn't as dramatic as some of the other books, but the ending made up for all of it.
With non-stop action from start to finish, the romance between Venom and Holly was a slow build which perfectly suited this couple. Cameo appearances by Raphael, the Legion and some members of the Seven all added to this engrossing novel.
Archangel's Viper was a fascinating paranormal page-turner which I would highly recommend. I absolutely loved it.
Oh, what a Great Book! I enjoyed it So Much, that I read it in 2 1/2 days. Had to be pulled away to eat and sleep, cuz I couldn't get enough! :)
This book is about Holly, formally Sorrow. The survivor of Archangel Uram's blood gludding madness. She and her friends were taken to a warehouse where she had to watch them all die. And she was forced to drink his blood. She became a unique being. Part vampire, archangel, with still some human traits. And was extremely affected by what had happened.
Years had passed and many were working with her to help her and monitor her, including Venom. But due to Raphael needing him elsewhere, he'd been gone for 2yrs. And now he's back and for certain reasons, setup to be with Holly to protect her.
Now Holly Always had a problem with Venom and Hated being around him, because he could see right to the heart of her. They have hilarious banter between them. And the relationship between them is quite interesting.
The plot thickens, and more and more unique and intense situations start to occur. Holly and Venom have no choice but to learn to trust each other, more and more. I luv what all goes on between them! They are like no others and beyond fiesty! Plus So Funny!
The Plot is So Superb, that it just keeps you so entangled, that you just can't stop reading! Definitely one of my Favorites in the Guild Hunter series!
