This book is a good place to pull check lists and double check that your plan for development does not have gaps that are easy to fill, but could cost you dearly if you don't address them early.

The most interesting sections for me were those addressing availability, reliability, risk management and risk mitigation. Maybe it's just a case that the technical bits of the book didn't offer anything new to me, where as the business process parts gave me some real action points.
