The Cerium LT, at 8 ounces, is one of the lightest warm weather gear in my closet right now. It weights almost as little as a bra yet with that 850fill heat generator down it will keep you as warm, if not warmer, than most winter down vests. Being light also makes the vest easy to wear since it is not bulky, heavy and cumbersome. You can also wear it as an out layer vest to your office or midlayer under a rain coat during ice climbing.
Although there is no hem cinch the vest tapers well with a slightly elasticated hemline to cover your torso and hips. I did not find a need for the hem cinch which comes on current models.
I did however miss having an internal pocket since this earlier version did not have pockets beyond the two outer hand warmer pockets. In 2017 most of us carry around smart phones, especially while hiking, that we use for taking pictures. Having an upper internal chest pocket would have been better than the lower hand pockets.
That said the lower hand pockets are hand warming pockets but they need to be zipped up when not used or cold air will get inside behind the down baffles.
My biggest gripe would be the price of these. My vest is made in CHINA and while the design and tailoring is great the quality of the stitching and thin zippers say made in China. So Arc’teryx asking $250+ retail for this is absurd. The Patagonia Down Sweater Vest is $180 retail and more available in New With Tags condition at lower prices ($80+) and will keep you just as warm. Even with 850fill $200 is the most I would have priced the Cerium vest at.
The stuff sack is pretty awkward to use and being a floating attached thing inside the hand pocket always makes me think I have something in there. It would have been easier and cheaper to just have the jacket fold into one of the pockets. And would have probably made for a much lighter jacket.
I am between a US Small/Medium but this medium fits me perfect with no gaps between your body which helps in keeping the heat in. I wear a thin thermal and a long sleeve before I slide this on. I am 1.75m and 80kg.
The Golden Palm color isn't exactly accurate. Its more custard/mustard yellow than golden shimmery like this photo.

Hardly no down fill, it has no loft puff what so ever, lifeless and flat
