I'm lazy, so when I put on this jacket/fleece/pullover, I rarely take it off until I'm done for the day. When it's warm (or indoors), the fleece lets hot air vent and keeps me from overheating. When it's cold, it's unbelievable how much warmth this retains for how light it is.
It makes a great middle layer. I'm used to having two or three middle layers in a futile attempt to keep my core warm when it's cold. With just this one layer combined with a good windbreak, I feel fluffy and warm all the time!
An added bonus is that through multiple washes, the fleec-y bits of the pullover seem to hold up just fine (unlike north face fleeces).
