Pros: Look man, its paste. I don't know about this whole chemical ceramic thermal compound jazz, but this is some paste. Its some great paste, don't get me wrong. But this is paste my friends. It does a fine job of getting the job done. Running FX 8320 keeps my Temps under 50 celsius, Amazing, over clickers dream

Cons: You may think they forgot to ship it to you, but they didn't. It's wrapped up in some of the bubble wrap. Keep searching, its in that box somewhere. Somewhere in that box is your $7 tube of paste.

Ralph might eat this paste. I would not recommend eating this paste.

One thumb up for paste, one thumb up for price, and one thumb up for you, rock on

I replace motherboards all the time and this works great.

Pros:
- Premium Formula. Highest Thermal Conductivity around. Better than OEM paste (as it actually contains silver)
- Much better heat transference than anything
- Price

Cons:
- Got some on my finger, now my body temperature is 10-15 degrees lower.
How do I explain that to my doctor?

I had a laptop that started shutting off constantly. Applied this for the processor and video card heatsinks and wala, problem solved. Great choice for amateurs because it is not conductive like the normal silver, so you can't accidentally short out anything. There are plenty of tech spec comparisons online and this stuff work good, last long time.

My old 60GB PS3 was having typical over heating issues. So I purchased this thermal paste to replace the old and dried out paste on my PS3. Seems to have done the trick as the cooling fan seems to run much slower since the replacement was done. Good stuff.

My issue was that my FX-8350 was running 65+ deg C under minimal load with the stock fan/cooler. I installed an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro v2, but temps only dropped to 60-62 degrees under full load. I removed it, cleaned off the thermal paste that came pre-applied on the unit, and applied Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic thermal compound. That made a huge difference -- after the recommended break-in period and several on-off cycles, temps dropped to 50-55 max while doing video conversion at 100% load on all 8 cores. Highly recommended product - but be sure to allow break-in time and several cycles per the instructions. When I first put the cooler back in, temps only dropped to 58-60 degrees average, peaking at 62 under full load. But as the break-in continued, the temps gradually dropped. Temps are now around 48-50 after two straight hours of COD Advanced Warfare.

For the price, you can't go wrong. If you are doing a lot of PC building this stuff makes perfect sense. It isn't the best TIM on the market, but it is the most cost effective. I have used this a lot over the years and always get great results from it. One small tip, is to not use too much. It is a common mistake. A small glob about half the size of a pea will get the job done.

i dont even know if this works better or worse cuz i just needed something to put it on between cpu and cooler

seems no trouble. I just got it cuz it's cheap.

I'm sure more expensive compound works better but my question is how much better?

Is it worth spending 20~30 dollars more? I don't think so. I rather spend that money on better cooler.

After not having to purchase Thermal Paste in over 6 years, I didn't know what was out there and what options were available. After a lot of research and reading reviews, I decided on this AC Ceramique paste after reading about how it simply works! When I received the tube I was very surprised by how heavy it was. From there applied the paste (various methods across the internet can help you with this) and mounted the heatsink with minimal effort required. I did notice that this is pretty thick paste from what I remember, so it took a bit of getting used to but isn't an issue at all. Now under a stress test I'm barely hitting 52°C after 10 minutes of 100% usage! Great paste would buy again for the price.
