This is my favorite among favorites. Coming from a long time BB fan with every album they've ever written (most of which have been purchased 2 or 3 times), I can say without a doubt this one has spent the most time on repeat. Been Burnley is such a complex dude and it's totally reflected in his music, especially on this album. From his addiction struggles to his many phobias, you feel like you're inside his head, fighting the fight with him. All that aside, every single song on the album is repeat-worthy, over and over again. Guitars, lyrics, beats leave nothing left to be desired. They cover it all.

Again Breaking Benjamin's 2nd album is just as awesome as the first if not better. It's excellent from start to finish, no dull moments.

1. So Cold - 5/5
2. Simple Design - 5/5
3. Follow - 5/5
4. Firefly - 5/5
5. Break My Fall - 6/5
6. Forget It - 5/5
7. Sooner Or Later - 5/5
8. Breakdown - 5/5
9. Away - 5/5
10. Believe - 6/5
11. Rain - 5/5
12. Rain (2005 Alternate Single Version) - 4/5. The other version is better.

Do you want a hard rocking, melodic CD that you can sing along to? You've come to the right place. Breaking Benjamin's sophomore effort, "We Are Not Alone", is a gem.

One of the hardest things to do in music is to have a very good freshman effort and then follow it up with a CD that's at least just as good. But Breaking Benjamin has definitely done it!

"Saturate", Breaking Benjamin's 2002 first recording never seemed to get the recognition or play that it deserved, and my guess is that We Are Not Alone will have the same fate. Let me be clear: this is a very good hard rock CD that should be given the time that it deserves in a lot of CD players.

These 4 guys may look like Green Day + 1 bald dude. But they are definitely not punk. Indeed 8 of 11 tracks rock melodic and hard....All good head bobbin', foot stompin' tunes.

There are only a couple of flaws in this diamond: Track 6...appropriately called Forget It...will be quickly forgotten; it may even be some cruel joke tribute to 80's new wave (think Psychedelic Furs "Love My Way") and the song seems very lost on this CD. Then there's an absolute "train wreck" at the end of the CD: a thrashy track called Believe has singer Ben Burnley using that indecipherable angry growl that so many Nu Metal bands these days are fond of; it then weirdly crashes into the ballady last track on the CD called Rain.

But make no mistake, this is a CD hard rock fans should have in their collection. At the risk of sounding like an ad...this could be the best hard rock CD of 2004! So if you're still on the fence...get off it and hit the "Add to Cart" button!

This was a great album by a very underrated band. It's always nice to listen to music after a band has peaked after the fair weather fans have gone. This is one of those bands and this is one of those albums :)

Great background music for a hard day's work. Keeps the energy up, the idle time down, and the mood steady.
