I was very impressed with “Are You Dreaming? Exploring Lucid Dreams: A Comprehensive Guide” by Daniel Love. It truly is a comprehensive guide to lucid dreaming. It covers history, science, techniques and a wealth of other information. While much of this information can be found for free online, it would take a great deal of time and effort to collect and sort. This book boils it all down to exactly what you need to know.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is just starting their exploration of lucid dreams as well as seasoned lucid dreamers.
Love never gets too spiritual, but he shares many ideas as food for thought. While this is mostly a guide book, when reading you'll likely realize that lucid dreaming can have a massive impact on your daily life and is much more than just a cool hobby. It can create some truly life changing experiences.
does live up to the claims of the title. It does seem to contain a comprehensive guide to the dream world. Far more than I even expected. Especially the "three pillars" concept, which provides a framework to guide the dream explorer, as well as other ideas. If you seek a greater sense of understanding your dreamscape . . . this is a good place to start.

I wish this had been the very first book on lucid dreaming I had read. To anyone new to the topic of lucid dreaming: this should be your first read!
The title just about summarizes it "Are You Dreaming?"
Well are you, I mean how would you know, how would you really know, how can you separate the dreamer from the dream?
All too often, authors in this space come at you with a model of reality that just feels far too contrived and convenient to solve the riddle of existence, but Daniel rather bravely stands up and announces that such an answer may be very far out of reach as we literally live inside the mystery with no way of seeing it from the outside, but this does not make it any less fun, on the contrary, it seems that the proverbial cosmic game of hide and seek is precisely what it is to be human.
Man's desire to seek out and search for new frontiers of experience is inherent in what and who we are, and what could be more of an adventure than a journey into the infinite landscape of your own imagination. This book is both intuitive and inventive in how we approach the world of lucid dreaming. With a firm abandonment of hearsay, the reader is asked to explore the matter themselves and answer the ultimate question only for their own experience "Are You Dreaming..?"
