Hopefully, they'll be touring to my city soon. If they do, I'll be sure to let you know.

I started with the Striking 12 CD that's just come out (highly recommended as well), and ordered "Are We There Yet?" next. Great tunes all, but my favorites are Live Through This, Apocalytic Love Song and No Room in Your Bag. They have samples on their GrooveLily website, and hopefully Amazon will add more samples as well.
If you're tired of Music As Usual, you may find GrooveLily as much a great change as I do. It's hard to be depressed after listening to GrooveLily.
The musical styles vary from song to song, but the musicianship is rock-solid and always on target. The lyrics are smart, clever, and evocative. Although the songs vary widely in subject, they are connected by themes of love, longing, and their resulting journeys.
This disc, along with "Striking 12", Groovelily's new musical, attests to the promise of this band. Great, substantial music!
"Are We There Yet" includes songs honed by live performance and refined by the recording process. This is a quality independent album. The music is refreshingly mature with many layers to appreciate over repeated listening. At the same time it is also fun and lively with an internal energy to grab the listener. Try it out today, you'll be back for more tomorrow.
If you get a chance to see this band, go. Buy all of their discs that you can get your hands on, but get this one first. The score to their holiday musical, Striking Twelve, will make you love them even more.
Apocalyptic Love Song is a can't-be-missed rock and roll extravaganza. I'd put it up there with Hendrix. No Room in Your Bag is extraordinary in its music and its lyrics. Diva Girl and Happy, Happy, Happy are satirical, funny, well-composed pieces about current American ways of thinking. All in all, every song is worth owning.
