How to cook with Argo®:To thicken hot liquids first mix Argo® corn starch with a little cold water until smooth, gradually stir into hot liquid until blended. Stirring constantly, bring to boil; boil 1 minute.1 tbsp. Argo® corn starch = 2 tbsp flour.Argo® corn starch has twice the thickening power of flour. When a gravy, sauce or soup calls for flour, use half as much corn starch to thicken.To make cake flour: for 1 cup cake flour combine 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. All-purpose flour with 2 tbsp. Way to expensive!

You can buy this same stuff at the grocery store. Obviously I don't cook and didn't know that. I was using this for a dry hair shampoo. And it's not the right stuff. Just go to the store and buy this . It's like 2 bucks.

If you’re hoping to grab one of these square plastic containers, as a collector’s item. Forget it. They sent the new round container at whatever the over the top price was. Not the real deal don’t buy it. Very disappointed in the obvious bait and switch tactic.

They showed the large square box of cornstarch like BJs or other such bulk suppliers sell. But they sent, at great price (five times normal cost!!), the little cylindrical 1-pound box that costs much less in the regular supermarket. This is bait-and-switch and there is getting to be more and more and more of it at Amazon just this year 2020. I think Amazon should deal with this issue: I keep getting caught by these fraudulent suppliers.

I use this mostly out of the kitchen for two things. One is for sweaty bodies (still the best thing going in my opinion!). The second is in the laundry room on clothes that have spots of grease. I rub some cornstarch in, let it set, then launder. That usually takes care of it but if it doesn't I just hang it up to dry (no dryer for grease spots), then do it again, only this time I rub some Dawn in after the cornstarch has worked its magic the second time. Throw it in the wash and voila, no grease stains!

I use this with a fluffy makeup brush on my scalp and hair, then brush roots to end. Works exactly like dry shampoo but is probably 100x more price effective. Doesn't show white unless you apply too much to the scalp and don't brush it. You can add cocoa powder to darken, essential oils for nice smell, if you prefer.
