Product Description

Ariat ATS technology supports and cushions as you move, promoting good posture and reducing fatigue. At the core of ATS technology is the Ariat ATS composite shank. This patented shank design reduces skeletal and muscular fatigue and injury. Mid-foot support reduces metatarsal stress. The forked shank design allows natural forefoot flex. The ATS footbed has a low-friction surface to protect from heat build-up and blistering. Shock-absorbing gel forefoot cushion reduces skeletal impact stress on knees, hips, and lower back. Cupped footbed chassis offers torsional stability. The ProBaby boot from Ariat beautifully combines a distressed leather foot with a matching 10" leather shaft. Blue star stitching and star cutout pull strap inlays. Blue leather lining. Performance EVA midsole. Round toe.

You'll have a hootin'-hollerin' good time wearing this ProBaby boot from Ariat. It has a durable leather upper with ProBaby riding technology, and a four-layered rebound system (4LR) which will provide long-lasting comfort for every adventure you take on.

Confession: this is my own first pair of cowboy boots... and I think I'm in love! I put them on to let the dog out. I put them on to run to the store. I put them on at home... "because my feet are cold!".

I've wanted a sort of all-purpose cowboy boot for ages, but I have wide feet! Not only are "C" width shoes rare, but many of cowboy boots have toe boxes which are purposefully pointy. Even if they were wide cut they would likely still painfully pinch my toes. When I saw this boot with it's cute, snubby little rounded-square (squoval?) toe box and then saw it came in a wide width I pitched it right in my shopping cart!

    Fit:
Width: Depending on the cut I wear a "C" width shoe most of the time, though I can sometimes get away with a wide cut "B". These boots fit great in the toe box. I am so pleased! There is enough wiggle room that I can wear thick socks, too! :-)

Support: I have wide feet-- and high arches! It's kind of unfair. Anyway, these boots have a decent arch support in the shoe bed. You can reach in the boot and feel the arch support bump with your finger. Also, the boot is slightly snug at the instep. This provides additional support. Depending on where your feet are wide this might be uncomfortable for you, but keep in mind that this is leather and will stretch with time and wear.

Heel: My heels are not wide. This boot slips at the heel for me. Though I have read that this is normal in a cowboy boot, it feels like I wish I could get JUST the heel in a smaller size, since the toe-box and instep fit perfectly, but the heel feels big. I may get an insert for this. But as it stands this is fine with socks, as the construction of the heel on this boot is engineered to be a smooth bump inward that doesn't rub.

I've had these boots for 5 years, and they are just starting to wear out after being worn almost every day for 3 of the 5 years that I've had them. They are very comfortable, supportive, and durable. I've worn them for everything from working in an office to riding to hiking and they have taken it all like a champ. I am getting ready to replace them, and I won't even look at anything other than an Ariat because they are so tough and take anything I can throw at them. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. I just wish that they still had the camo pattern that I got the first time around because I love them to death! Get these boots. They are worth it. I got a size 10, and they were tight when I first got them, but they broke in within a month and were amazing. They do stretch a little so if they are tight to begin with, don't worry. They will stretch!

I was a little unsure about ordering online because of sizing, but these fit perfectly and are very comfy. It's really hard to find wide width riding boots, at least locally, and these are great. My poor pinched toes are thankful! The price was decent too, especially since I know Ariats will last quite a while. They fit true to size too, at least for me - I normally wear an 8 in shoes, so I went with that for these and I'm glad I didn't go any smaller.

But I saw these online and thought they were adorable. They are, and are also incredibly functional even for someone like me who rides horses maybe twice a year. I find myself wearing these whenever I go to an outdoor event, a city shopping trip or do anything that requires a full day of walking. They have great arch support and are very comfortable for what I thought would be a stiff, mainly stylish boot. These are an excellent value and a very versatile boot for many folks.

Just love Ariat boots. Have 3 pair of Fatbaby and this pair of Probabys. Wear them everyday in all kinds of conditions. Could not be HAPPIER with them. Keep in mind that Probabys are 2 inches taller in the tops than Fatbabys. This is NOT a henderance it's a plus. Would recommend them to all.

I got these in a B width, although I have bunions and that is the only part of my foot that is wide. These boots are a good fit all over. They have a fairly good arch. The leather is sturdy but pliant. The boots will require very little breaking in and they should last awhile. The boots look good with skinny jeans and with a skirt. I love these boots.

I have owned a pair of these boots for almost two years and I wear them all day 2-3 days a week. I wore them so much they were coming apart at the seams and of course they have been discontinued. I tried stores and no one had them in my size. So here I was on Amazon and they had them and I bought them sight unseen knowing the size I needed. Ariat boots in my experience do run maybe a half size small but I expect that. These are so comfortable, way more comfortable than original Fatbaby boots. I love the taller tops and they are a little more rigid on the top so my foot just slides right in and no fighting a floppy top. I wear Justin boots for work and have worn Ariat for dress for the last 13 years. I have owned 5 pair of Fatbaby and these are my second pair of Probaby. They will not in my experience hold up to farming and ranching and a lot of wear and tear but for dress boots they are fabulous. They will be a little stiff and work on the heel just a little when you first wear them. Wear a tall sock to protect your leg and give it 1-2 weeks depending on how often you wear them. After that you are good to go. Also they are just a phenomenally beautiful boot. The new boots are all square toed and flat soled and just UGLY. These boots are classy.
