The Ariat Boot Jack is the boot jack you've been looking for. Made with a wooden base, to give it that rustic look, yet strong enough to last for all those days you can't wait to peel those boots off after a long hard day. Don't worry about bending over and trying to force those boots off at a awkward angle. Just stick the heel of any boot in the Ariat Boot Jack and with almost an effortless motion, any boot will slide right off. Also tested on spurs, the jack allows you to keep your best set of spurs on your boot, while keeping boot removals a breeze. On those muddy boot days, The Ariat Boot Jack will still peel any boot off, and leave your hands totally mud free. Your guests will thank you for it! On cleaning day, take it down to the yard and give it a quick hose off to get the dirt and grim off, and it will come back looking good as new.Now you can have the perfect boot jack, to go with those perfect new Ariat boots.

I called Ariat, and the company said they USED TO MAKE a boot jack, but DO NOT make one now. I believe it is counterfeit, because this is not even close to Ariat quality. Also, as a professional, I believe it's HAZARDOUS to use something this flimsy. Please avoid this!
After a lot of looking I got this one for several reasons. One is the felt area that the heel goes into. I spent a bit of money on my boots and did not want them scuffed. The second reason was the solid wood construction. I read a lot of reviews about seams scratching boots and jacks splitting in half because it was two pieces pressed together.
This is a solid piece of wood for the jack shape. The leg that holds it up is another solid piece. It does not seem to be the strongest connected thing but it does not appear to be loose. The felt is stapled on along the top and bottom. None of the staples are near the leather of the boot. The foot piece has leather on it. The Ariat symbol is stapled on leather as well.
It works as expected. I was able to easily slip my boots off all on my own. This thing should be automatically suggested with cowboy boots for anyone buying them.
These manufacturers need to realize if they are going to market their junk to US, they should at least understand the size of the target market-grown up size feet.
It's hard to imagine how someone could mess up making a boot jack, but somehow these people found a way.
