Armand Nicolet’s Limited Edition L07 faces a new challenge and joins the world of chronographs. Limited to 140 pieces, the L07 collection features 20 pieces of the famous VENUS 175 movement with “column wheel” and 120 pieces of VENUS 188 with “navettes” system. L07 goes farther beyond Armand Nicolet’s best masterpieces in terms of finishing and decoration. The plate and the bridges of the movements deserve particular attention: they are entirely finished with a motif that recaptures a decoration used in the 1930s on high-end movements. After the surface has been perfectly polished, the plate and the bridges are hand decorated using an ivory point. The point scrapes the shiny surface creating lines every 2 mm resulting in a unique and beautiful outlook. The balance wheel, made of a special alloy, has a counter-weight system with balance screws. The vibrations are 18.000 per hour and the power reserve is 32 hours. The movement is engraved with the limited number on the frame opening on the dial.

There's nothing like getting a $15000 watch in a cardboard Amazon box. But that aside, it was a wonderful experience.
I'm not so wealthy, so, I had to make some sacrifices to acquire this precious watch.
My 6 year old daughter, after many conversations, was fine with only living with one kidney.
I explained it as scientifically accurate as possible. She didn't understand much of it, but after telling her that if she wasn't ok with it, that I would ground her, she stopped crying, and finally said agreed, on the condition I buy her a new Barbie. I was hesitant at first, because I didn't want to encourage her behavior that to make her feel better, I have to buy her a toy every time. But I guess I could make an exception this time.
There are many people in the world living with only one kidney, so, I told her it wouldn't be a big deal. I told her she would just have to take care of herself, and eat healthy, which is something we already do anyways. So if anything, selling the kidney, to acquire this watch, was something good, that would teach my daughter good values.
And nothing screams good values more than pointing to her room with my left hand, telling her she's grounded, with an Amazing Armand Nicolet Men's Watch.
