About KEM Plastic Playing Cards
KEM Plastic Playing Cards is a 60-year-old company specializing in one product: playing cards that are 100 percent cellulose acetate plastic. KEM plastic playing cards contain no vinyl, which is the raw material used by other playing card manufacturers for their "plastic" playing cards. KEM cards can handle the wear and tear like no other brand of card in the industry. KEM's high-performance cards are designed to last longer, shuffle better, and deal in such a manner that you will never want to play with other cards again.

As you can see, the KEM deck is almost 12% thicker and 1.7% larger surface area than the COPAG deck, and 21% thicker and 1.6% larger surface area than a Bicycle deck. 21% thicker than a Bicycle deck is a big deal if you're a smaller-handed dealer!
Here are my personal thoughts;
The COPAG's feel slightly better when shuffling as the deck is slightly smaller, less weight and easier to handle for short fingers (like mine). The KEM's numbering is smaller and much less blocky, and appear more like a traditional deck. The COPAG's have larger (not Jumbo) lettering which is blocky. Both decks have visually pleasing and symmetrical backing designs. Both slide easily on felt and are very easy to riffle/shuffle. The COPAG's have an attractive blue border around each face card picture, unlike the KEM's black border.Read more ›
The first and most obvious is price. You can purchase a similarly high quality two deck pack of plastic playing cards for around $10 cheaper. The next factor, and to me even more important, is the fact that KEM no longer provides replacement cards for ANY of their products. You can double check this yourself (It states it clearly on their website). Trust me, I know, because I lost the deuce of diamonds for one of my decks and now I'm stuck with a useless 51 card deck. It is for this reason that KEM would be my last choice of all the plastic cards.
Other options that my experience can speak to are Copag and Da Vinci. I've purchased both and I'll tell you right now, Da Vinci is my favorite. The cards are beautiful, cheaper (than KEM), come in the same kind of hard case, AND they come with two nice, red Da Vinci cut cards (Make sure the description on Amazon explicitly includes cut cards because if it doesn't, you won't get them). KEM cards do not include cut cards, nor do Copag. Also, in the Da Vinci cards, there will be a nice little extra card which you can mail in for replacements in case you lose a card. I haven't looked into replacement cards for Copag, but I'm assuming they do offer them.
The Copag cards are very nice as well. However, I personally favor the feel and look of the Da Vinci cards. One of the things I prefer on the Copag cards is the font of the card rankings, ie K, Q, J, 10, 9, etc. It is a very clean and crisp font. Also, the Copag has pretty awesome Jokers if you're into that kind of thing. The price of the Copag and Da Vinci is roughly the same.Read more ›

These cards are impeccable. They come in a dual deck carry case and upon my first shuffle of this deck I thought I was shuffling a deck I had used for years. Read morePublished 15 days ago by Amazon Customer
I love the back design on these cards. They are also easy to shuffle. I don't like how one or two cards buckle under just a little pressure. Read morePublished 29 days ago by jcoffin1981

Very nice cards.
I've used a few decks of these and I feel they come second only to the Copaq's. Very long lasting and shuffle up very nicely.
Hope this was helpful
