The fabric feels nice and has a bit of a sheen to it without being too flashy. It is fairly thin, but no more so than any other dress shirt, and it is mostly opaque (though I still would wear an undershirt with it). The sizing seems to run true to standard sizes and the material it is made out of doesn't shrink in the wash. I have had this shirt for years and it still fits, the collar is still fairly stiff and folds well, and the buttons are all still firmly attached. Overall a very quality shirt.
I have this shirt in both colors and would buy it again. You can buy it with confidence.
Upon receipt of the new shirts I laundered them along with several of my Croft and Barrow shirts. Afterwards, the Croft and Barrow shirts are ready to wear as is. This shirt will clearly have to be ironed however. Of course perhaps your dryer will do a better job than mine, leaving your shirt wrinkle free. But in no way does this shirt compare to my older shirts. I will not be purchasing anymore of this shirt.
After an 8-hour shift, the shirt still looked good and I could wear it again for a 2nd night. Don't worry, I wear an undershirt.
Definitely recommend. Going to look for more colors
The second day I steamed out the wrinkles and wore it with a sweater vest.
I particularly like the cool, smooth and slick feeling of the sateen against my skin as I don't wear undershirts. When I'm in a heated room now or in air conditioning, I no longer sweat with a sweater on.
I just ordered another one.
