Baobab goes into the detail of every single story they've made, explaining why they made the decisions they made: How they named characters, how they picked the time of the year of a scene, how they evolved the graphic style... While reading it, I feel like I'm getting all the learning from an accelerated storytelling class, but without all the boredom.
The writing is fun, engaging, quick, tender, and the images are just gorgeous. You can follow along their creative process, which gives you a unique window into how these things are made. That is magical for me, because I always find creative endeavors one of the hardest things to do. Following all the details of world-class artists really opens your eyes about how to do it.
