Summary:

This book provides an in depth look at how much work went into making Days Gone. The character model designs, patches, tattoos and clothing are all visited including preliminary character arcs which were abandoned early on. Days Gone saving grace is its world/interpretation of Oregon. The snow capped mountain vista's tower over the sweeping verdant pine trees. Dirty and rusting Police cars sit abandoned to the elements on crumbled roads.
A pastel coloured drawing of the O'Leary Mountain Safe-house set against a sunset stands out as does Deacon and Sarah sat at the foot of a majestic waterfall. The Cloverdale Research Iron Butte Facility and NERO checkpoints are detailed and feel believable. I'm running out of steam now so I'll end by saying if you enjoyed the game this book heightens the experience.
