My kid has this weird obsession of hoarding pencils to play with them to activate his imagination. So much so that it disrupts his studies and gets him in trouble quite often. So rather than scold him and break more pencils ( yo, that stuff adds up) I bought him this cool pack of bendy pencils for Easter specifically for twirling and playing purposes. He can have a field day bending and tying and trying to break or rip them apart. He hasn't let them out of his eyesight yet.
Naturly the 44 yr old husband had to get in on the fun. He is a combat navy vet so he tried out every knot he could think of in these pencils and only had one question to ask after each pencil was twisted. "WHAT KINDA SOCERY IS THIS???". It was actually very amusing to watch them try their hardest to rip or break these bad boys but so satisfying to see the pencil win time and time again.
Will I be buying these pencils again? Yes. Do they actually write? Yes, but we won't be using it for writing purposes, just playing.
