I am usually very good with this kind of thing, but I have spent the last hour and a half screwing in the casters; as I write this, I have successfully attached two. Once I started to cry and scream and was on the verge of hurling an unattached caster through a window, I knew it was time to quit for the night and try again tomorrow.
The problem I'm having is getting the screw to completely connect with the groove; from there, obviously, it's easy. I love the look of the parts and want to use and like it and happily change my rating, but I need to get it on four wheels first.
Does anyone have any ideas?
UPDATE: I did finally get all four casters on, but I am mystified why no one else had problems with the error in the instructions, which is was what stymied me: the first instruction says "Screw the 4 casters into the cart legs by turning the large metal disc on each caster clock-wise." All my frustrations disappeared as soon as I tried turning them COUNTER-clock-wise.
So, that problem solved, but because a couple of pieces were slightly bent, even connecting the locks was more difficult than it should have been. It's finally all put together, the bents do not affect the stability, and I AM DONE. It looks fine, suitable for what I bought it for, but errors on instructions and bent parts is a tad outrageous for $80. If the return process for items this heavy wasn't yet another time-consuming drag, I might consider it.
My experience may be an outlier, but it's mine. All I ask of this cart now is to not drop any wheels (although the irony would be hilarious). The three stars have to stand.
