About the Author
Abigail Patner Glassenberg has been making award-winning soft toys and soft sculptures since 2005. She has made more than 100 birds of every variety, selling them in galleries, boutiques, craft shows, and online. Her work also been featured in magazines, including Cloth, Paper, Scissors, and in sewing, craft, and soft-sculpture books. She lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

These birds are purely DECORATIVE, or sculptural. Many or most have wire frames inside, so they are definetly not toys. They would make good stage props, if made with fabrics that will hold up to that kind of wear and tear.
