What can I say? The ocean air has a fragrance, and this salt has a flavor--and it is a delicious one. This isn't a salt for mixing into the pot, but for sprinkling over roasted veggies or anything in which the moist crystaline texture can stand out. I don't know if other brands are as good--and I'm disappointed that Amazon doesn't offer Prime on this product--but it's available at Treasure Island and other gourmet stores.

I'm a tomato addict and I'm so glad I discovered this project. There is nothing better than this salt (like snowflakes on your tongue) to finish off a caprese salad of heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil olive oil and fresh basil.

This finishing salt is delicious !!. A lil goes along way . it has a soft smooth taste and when you add it to finished dishes and meats its the best. All u need is a pinch or two. So use sparingly.I first purchased this at a store and now they no longer sell it ,so I searched and searched the internet and was thrilled Amazon carried it. I cant be without it .!! It is by far my favorite!! Bottom line...Delicious!!! You wont be disappointed!!
