Artisana is a small team of super dedicated people making organic and raw nut butters in Oakland, California. We started Artisana in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002 and introduced our products at farmer's markets and festivals around California. We work with local farmers for our almonds and walnuts and with farmers around the globe for many of our other ingredients. We're committed to sustainable and fairly-traded ingredients that are always certified organic. Today, you can find Artisana Organics in natural foods stores across the country as well as other familiar regional supermarket chains. After all these years, we're still dedicated to making quality organic products available everywhere.

This is the best cashew butter I have ever had. It is creamy and has the best, delicate cashew flavor. The consistency is lovely, and it is easy to spread. It lasts a good while as well, I forgot it in the back of my pantry cabinet and it was just as tasty and had only a minor amount of oil separation that easily mixed back in, it did not get those solidified chunks in it. It is the best tucked inside a split open date, I love I have a healthy, sweet treat for my 6 year old that is super quick and easy to make. I don’t think these is a better cashew butter out there and is definitely creamier than when I attempt homemade cashew butter.

What I like the most about this product is the texture. This texture is excellent, it is uniform and it does not separate into solids and oil, as the other two cashew butter products I have tried have done. The single ingredient is processed well, in my opinion. The flavor of the butter is milder than others and raw cashews are like that, they have a very mild taste. Since this product is comparable in price to what is available here, I'd choose this as the best value for that amount of money. Nutritionally, this is the best since there are no added oils of any kind in the product.

So I ordered this butter for a homemade chocolate recipe. On its own it taste like crap lol, but they all do. Really tasteless and nothing special. It was recommended and I tried it. It worked for the recipe as the other brand I bought. If I need again I would buy it. I would base my decision next time on price.

NOT Grainey, no grains to be found here! Almost mousse like in texture, but without all the air pockets. Cashew is one of the sweetest nut butter's, but not overly sweet, but rather a mild sweetness.

We have tried this butter on toast with mashed banana , and it's GREAT!

THIS BUTTER IS SO SMOOTH YOU COULD USE IT TO MAKE ICECREAM!
