Artograph's prism projector is an opaque projector. it can enlarge or reduce images you find on opaque surfaces like drawings, photos or pages from a book or a magazine. these images are projected on to a wall, work surface or table top so they can be redrawn at a different scale. the prism projector, like the super prism projector, uses two photo quality bulbs to produce 500-watts of white bright lighting. the lens in the prism can be reversed for enlargement or reduction. it can enlarge up to 20-times the size of the original and can reduce to 80-percent of the original. the glass copy area is a generous 7-inch-by-7-inch and is top loading. the removable hinged lid is perfect not only for flat objects like photographs, but for books and small 3-d objects as well. the fan in the back of the projector draws air through a dual cooling channel system. the projector is also protected from overheating through a thermal overload circuit. although the bulbs produce very bright light, a reduc.

Only 3 stars because the projector wasn’t properly checked beforehand. This it’s my second artograph projector, not a replacement. I am really disappointed with it. I encountered a few issues, first it was very difficult to removed the glass, also there are scratches and finger marks. The screw was hard to install, i was concerned about that since I need to change bulbs often. It said that was never used and the price it’s good, however, there was a thick layer of dust covering the mirror and the lit it’s missing a magnet. So the lit don’t stay close. It is not good for vertical use. (Correction) I thought that the screw had some issues, but after open it again in order to removed the light bulbs, I noticed that I needed to put more pressure. I am traveling in a few days and i don’t have time to order another projector or the missing magnet from the seller, the return time it’s short. I didn’t plug it so I don’t know if it works.
They have to check that out and fix the lit.
